First time for everything...
 

My wife is in the hospital tonight. I'm home with the kids. Started off with my wife getting ill in July, and losing 40 lbs from then until now. Today, she endured the scopes, both ends. We're waiting on biopsies, and trying to reduce an infection in her colon. Could be cancer, there are perforations from the lower intestine into her abdomen. Most likely she's going to require a removal of big piece of her lower intestine.

I'm a ****ing mess right now. I'm trying to keep my kids focused on positive outcomes. I spent 31 years of my life waiting for a woman like her to come into my life. I haven't been this scared since the Doc told me I had cancer in 1983. Whatever you've got on the positive side, I'm not afraid to ask tonghti.

Best of luck to your wife, I'll add her to my prayers tonight. Stay strong for the kids and know that if it is cancer, modern treatment has come a long way. We've recently dealt with it and won the battle.
