Did the Chiefs/Reid hold anything back the last time against Indy?
I've stated that I think Reid held back Charles and his best plays the last time we played Indy. Others have said that was their best effort, just a bad day. What say you?

I need to read my private newsletter to figure this out.

Collectively, their heads were not in the game. I don't know the reason for that.
|
I'm starting to think they did.

The play calling lacked creativity for sure in that game. I felt we didn't show our entire hand but we also played pretty poorly. I really don't see the Colts defense being that good, I think it was one of our worst offensive games but that isn't solely because of the Colts defense.

I think the idea of a coach "holding back" may be the most absurd recurring topic on chiefsplanet.
While I'm sure the coaches have a handful of plays they hang on to, overall they are giving every effort to win. |
Did you guys still have a chance for the AFC West at the kickoff of that game?
|
I feel very good heading into this game. We are rested and well prepared. I think we can make it to the AFC championship game at Denver this year.

I don't know the answer but if in the first series Charles gains 5-6 yards on 1st down and then we try to pass on the next two I'd say no, Andy didn't hold anything back the first game.

I would bet that Charles will have triple that # on Saturday. That's the Chiefs best effort. The best playcalling. |
I'll let you know on Saturday night around 7PM

They held a ball gag in their mouths.

Completely absurd. We were still playing for home field for ****s sake. Stupidest thing ever thinking they just tanked the game. Just an off day all around.
