What Player would help Jamaal the most?

- Another WR to help keep the defense honest?
- An OLineman to smash open holes?
- A key defensive player to keep the Chiefs offense on the field more?
- A pass-catching TE threat to keep LB's from selling out to the flats for our patented dump-offs to JC?

Obviously they will draft with a much larger picture in mind; but if you are Jamaal, who are you hoping the Chiefs draft and/or pick up in Free Agency?

The 1 player, that will be available via draft or FA, and will help Jamaal the most is ______ because __________.

The Franchise 01-30-2014 04:00 PM

A WR or TE that can stretch the field.

Which guy/guys, specifically would you root for, if you're him?

Free agent wise or in the draft?

Deep threat to keep the defense honest.

Gabe Jackson. Offensive Guard, Mississippi State.

Deberg_1990 01-30-2014 09:03 PM

Kniles Davis getting 8-10 touches per game.

As much as I believe you to be an idiot, I actually agree with this post.

Charles will be helped the most if Alex Smith builds on his growth over the lasg half of the season.

The one area that would make him more effective is a guy in the middle that could create more than a small crease for Jamaal to slip through and get into the second level.

I disagree.

Instead of fortifying the OL with another high pick, the best thing you can do is force defenses to backpedal, instead of stack the box.

You do that with receiving weaponry. A first-round WR is probably a must if (a.) an elite DL isn't available, or (b.) Ebron or Amaro aren't available.

A TE would help more than a guard. It gives Alex another viable outlet so that the ball doesn't have to go to JC every down.

A tight end like Ebron that you can flex out into the slot, or line up at receiver, almost assuring there is never an 8th man in the box.

That will help the Chiefs the best. Another way?

Draft Ebron, have Kelce come back healthy, and have TWO tight ends that defenses have to account for.
