home invasion fail

Before you break into someone's home, you might want to make sure it's not the home of a 6'4 340 lb left tackle...:hmmm:

Raiders tackle Donald Penn subdued a home invasion attempt earlier this month, according to a report by TMZ. The 6-4, 340-pound Penn was home with his wife and two children in Los Angeles, when a man jumped his security fence, smashed through the front door and began "going crazy" inside the home.

Penn claims he doesn't know the man, but he was able to physically restrain the 6-1, 220-pound intruder until police arrived.

Penn got a temporary restraining order against the man, requiring him to stay at least 100 yards away from the family. The case will be heard later this month, when the Penn's are expected to request that the order be made permanent.

lol wow. Good cautionary tale for anyone contemplating signing with the Raiders this offseason.

I'm not one of those, but.. Yeah.

If someone breaks into another's house, id say they deserve pretty much anything that happens to them up to and including being shot to death.

Damn straight! I'm not 6 foot tall nor do I weigh over 300lbs so, yeah, I'm shooting the guy dumb and unlucky enough to break into my house.

**** yeah you would have, because you're a stone cold killah.

I'd pay to see a home invader come face to face with an adrenaline-spiking NFL lineman. That would be hilarious.

The intruder was a pretty decent sized dude, speaking on terms of average people. Either he is the unluckiest robber ever, or incredibly stupid to have picked Penn's house.

That's even funnier. The guy probably thought he was a real stud, and it turned out that he was batting second from right in the picture below when the homeowner was batting far left.

Sounded like a druggie and/or disturbed individual. Penn showed incredible restraint, especially since his family was home at the time. Was probably like what handling a middle schooler would be to the average man.

If this would have happened to Fisher the article would have read: Chiefs left tackle robbed of all possessions due to his inability to get one hand on robber.

Hey, at least he didn't pick Veldheer's house.
