Predict the rest of the season
 

So I figure if we lose next week to the Vikings - we will see Daniel start against the Steelers - if we lose that game - I could see them pulling the plug on everything established and go with Murray against the Lions. Why the Lions game? Because it's at a neutral venue against a terrible team. HE should be able to build some confidence in that game.

If we beat the Vikings but Smith is still not leading the offense the way it should be I still think we see Daniel against the Steelers.

If Smith, by some miracle, has a breakout game I think we are stuck with him until the bye. If he can keep up the good performances then he is the starter the rest of the way.

I really don't see him making it past the Vikings. I have a terrible feeling we are in for a long two game stretch. I would love to see Daniel try and make something of our season at 1-5 but I doubt it happens.

Anyone who thinks Reid is benching a healthy Alex Smith needs their head examined.

I disagree, I think Andy knows he is on the hot seat if this gets any worse than it already is - he needs to make changes and show improvement

You really think Andy is going to risk his future paycheck on a problem that is easily fixable by a personnel change?

I think andy was the one who wanted to give Alex the money so yes he know's his fate is tied with that of the Alex Smith.

Reid and Smith both come back next year and KC goes 8-8 next year and loses to Manning two more times.

Andy is not on the hot seat. Clark isn't going to fire Reid after this season unless the team goes 1-15 or 2-14 and the players look like they've given up. It's laughable that anyone thinks the problems with this team are easily fixable by putting Chase in at QB.

I think it helps - what I have seen on video is a scared Smith - he has happy feet and a quick trigger. The fans will be calling for his head if it doesn't turn around fast. After the way we lost to the Bangles and the Bares we should be ashamed. Like I said, IF we lose to the Vikings - there will be a major need for a personnel shakeup - the biggest one would be to bench Alex.
