What Would You Do In My Shoes?
I'm in 2 Fantasy Football leagues this year, both a $100 buy in. A 12 team league that Pest is the commish of, I'm about to win for an $800 payday. The other is an 8 team work league where 1st place is $500. Unbelievably, I'm about to pull off the upset of the year and win that one as well.
Problem is, the commissioner lost his job with us and doesn't have the money to pay me. He's not a violent, fighting type of individual. Kicking his ass won't print money, but would probably motivate him to sell his PS4, and other shit off to get me paid. Would you do it? I'm really not inclined too, but there is a principle behind this so I am genuinely considering leaning on him to motivate him to get me paid. The fact is, if it were me under no circumstances would I spend the money if I were the commish. At all. And everyone already tells me I'm too nice. The thing is, I really don't need the money, but could definitely use it, and if the roles were reversed I'd hope someone would show me some grace. While I wouldn't expect it too happen, I really do believe you should be the change you wish to see in the world. I'm pretty conflicted here. Genuinely. What would you do? |
He's stealing money from everyone.

He better start selling rock on the street if he's in charge of that league.
That's all I have to say. |
Other people's fantasy leagues. Always love these
|
He stole from your entire league. Demand to be paid. And what about the guys who finished 2/3?
|
Get everyone to pay in advance. That's worked out well for us for years.

You don't spend the entry fee money if you are the commish of a fantasy football league. Make him ****ing pay you.

Everyone else in the league needs to get on that guy as well.
Don't be a commish if you plan on spending other people's money. |

He stole it. |
Yeah I hate welshers worse than about anything, if it were me I would push the issue.
Sounds like a Hootie move. |
It's ridiculous that someone in that position would spend the money at all. It's a debt that needs to be paid at this point, even if he has to pay in installments.
And he's never allowed to be commish again. |
