Let's talk about the Saints.

It's midweek and we don't have a Saints thread?

I pretty much have no idea what to expect in this game. The Saints are a pretty terrible team everywhere. They have one good passrusher and the rest of their defense is utter garbage. Their offensive line can't open holes and Mark Ingram is JAG.

But, of course, they have the one thing we're vulnerable to: an elite, Hall of Fame quarterback.

Brees can light Arrowhead the **** up. We currently have no CBs on this team that can guard Brandin Cooks, a sharp route-running speedster that our corners match up horribly against.

Fortunately, they have no other receivers that are serious weapons, but it doesn't matter with Brees. He gets the ball out in a hurry, and roughly 100% of his passes are on target. Brees has seen every coverage, and every blitz.

We're probably rolling with another Hali/Ford/Zombo matchup on the edges and that's not going to be enough to get to him.

What do you guys know about the Saints?

Brees already has 1700 yards passing, 14 TDs to 4 INTs.

They have a good wr core and a decent TE.

It's gona be a good test for our pass d.

They're the Raiders with a shittier offensive line and defense but better QB.

Cooks will be a problem. None of our guys have the speed to match him. I hope the safeties are on point for this game..

In Brees' last 9 road games he's thrown 12 TDs to 9 INTs.

KC should dominate the LOS on both sides of the ball. NO will have no answer to Spencer Ware/Charles. We will have the advantage on the outside.

As long as they dedicate resources to slowing down Brees and we get a couple turnovers, this ones not even going to be close.

This is going to be a test for this defense. Snead, Cooks and Thomas are a great group of WRs.

Should be one of those games where we run the ball 40 times and use play action heavily, which means Reid will probably try and outsmart them with 14 screens in the first half alone.

Ah, that's right.

He's the tits at home and meh on the road.

Takes me back to the 90's, those heady days when the only way to stop the Houston Oiler Run and Shoot O was to run, run, and run some more.

Just pound the crap out of that porous D, hit a few play action passes to Kelce & Maclin and call it a win.

I want to see a 300 yard rushing performance on Sunday. Dominate the game and slow it down and minimize Brees's possessions.

Put Nelson on Cooks. He should be used to going up against him. :)

Damn glad we're playing them at Arrowhead, the grass should slow them down a bit... and its hopefully a gusty day as well to help take some of the accuracy/mustard off Brees throws

The offensive plan should be dirt simple... beat them to death with Ware, scorch them with Charles
