The time shifts are no longer needed. It's time to just settle - they don't have to settle on DST but just stop with the shifts.

Yes, but I'm failing to see why it has to wait until next year. That means we will go back again in the fall and forward again next spring. The article references airlines and broadcasters. Maybe someone in those industries can clue me in.

I have seen many reasons why we switch back and forth but none of them are worth doing it.

We should have daylight savings every week. That way we really save some daylight

Or at least monthly

It would be what we have right now so in December instead of it being dark at 5pm it would be dark at 6pm

It's about time. Changing the clocks was always a dumb concept.
