Broken hip
Well yesterday was my birthday and I bought myself a new smoker. Went and put it on the back prorch. Went back out and slipped, did the splits and broke my left hip right below the ball of the femur. Suppose to meet with Ortho this morning to get the surgery to repair.

side note broken hip is what ended up killing my grand dad... he was in his 80's... so there is that... :) |
Wow, sorry to hear. Hope you heal up soon.
My older sister just broke hers a week ago Saturday and had surgery last Sunday. She had a Great Dane on a leash and it took off. |

If there's any condolence, fixing and rehabbing broken hips today are pretty standard. Hurts like hell and is inconvenient though.
