As good as the 49ers have been, imagine if they hadn’t blown the Lance or Solomon Thomas picks.

Kind of surprised Shanahan and Lynch aren't eviscerated for this. Looking at all the talent in the top half of that 2021 draft class and the two first they gave up in 2022 and 2023 they very well may have cost themselves a chance at multiple championships with how close that roster is. A massive blunder.

I guess even working with Mahomes this past summer couldn't fix Lance.

Well, they were stupid enough to at #3. Probably a team similar to Cleveland salivating at the chance to go full-reerun.

Minnesota and Atlanta have been floated a lot. Apparently they even had discussions with Minnesota but they fell through.

Imagine trading your 1st in the next three drafts along with a 3rd rounder to draft a QB you’re looking to trade just 2 years later….. and still being one of the better teams in the league! Crazy.

This move should have set the 49ers back 5 years and yet here they are with a good chance to get back to the NFC Championship game.

It can't help a guys confidence practicing with the greatest ever.

It was very obvious that he was going to be a bust. I called it from the beginning.

Well they have a starting QB from the 7th round.....the issue is that trade ****s them over because they should have more depth.
