No athlete ever was worth $700 million or $70 million a year.

It's not a financially prudent deal from a $/WAR perspective, even though that stat overly inflates the value of a win, but goddamn, I respect the balls to even ask for that.

Hans Gruber could have robbed Ohtani and gotten 10 percent more than the value of the bearer bonds at Nakatomi Plaza.
