Who was our Super Bowl 59 MVP?
Not gonna try to remember the Roman numerals in the thread title, but you know which one I'm talking about.
The Super Bowl MVP is typically selected from the team that won, but in this case that would be the Eagles, and that makes no sense at all. So which Chief was our Super Bowl MVP? I won't put up a poll since we have a lot of options to choose from. I would propose three candidates, all on defense: Drue Tranquill was on fire in the run defense, shutting the other team's running back down. Tershawn Wharton was winning his battles on the defensive line, often against guys who outweighed him by several hundred pounds. Justin Reid made a number of plays where the other team's quarterback tried to run with the ball. You may, of course, propose a different player. I think my vote for Super Bowl MVP would be Tershawn Wharton. What a success story that guy has been, eh? |

Spags. ****ing shame he will not get his flowers for this game all because Andy and Pat shat the bed. You can clearly tell how effective his gameplan would have been had it not been obliterated by the game script. Barkley was completely neutralized and it was setting up to be Hurts vs Mahomes.

I just looked at the box score. I had no idea that Worthy had that many yards. That's insane.

I’m going with Chris jones. He may not show up on the stat sheet but my god that guy had to put in so much work yesterday. And it felt like he was the emotional leader for the team as a whole yesterday.

Matt Nagy was the Eagles SB mvp.
