Let's talk about the Cardinals

Well.. This is a game on the schedule. My only hope is we come out of this one healthy and ready for the Rams.

Your thoughts?

CupidStunt 11-04-2018 04:42 PM

Chiefs 42
Cards 16

Let's skip this thread and talk about the Rams. Their D is ****ing garbage. We should score 40 and hopefully that's just barely enough.

eDave 11-04-2018 04:42 PM

They suck.

/thread

ThaVirus 11-04-2018 04:43 PM

We could probably rest all of our starters and win this one handily. The Cards are that bad.

I'd be absolutely OK with sitting Hill, Watkins, Houston, Berry (lol), Morse and anyone else who's ailing in an effort to be 100% for the Rams in two weeks.

TomBarndtsTwin 11-04-2018 04:44 PM

In.

This shouldn’t even be a competitive game. Chiefs win by 20+ points and we yawn as we cruise to our showdown with the Rams . . . .

Chiefs 48, Cards 17

mr. tegu 11-04-2018 04:45 PM

This game has more trap game potential than the Browns simply because of the next one but we will still roll.

Hammock Parties 11-04-2018 04:46 PM

Consecutive bye weeks in the middle of the season. Nice!

TLO 11-04-2018 04:47 PM

What's Vegas set the line at for this one? Chiefs -12? Higher?

Higher. I bet -16 when it comes out and could move more towards the end of the week.

siberian khatru 11-04-2018 04:48 PM

They suck. We’ll win.

I don’t even have any bad mojo vibes like I did the Browns.

Did you look at Sagarin?

carcosa 11-04-2018 04:54 PM

It's going to be an absolute slaughter.

Hammock Parties 11-04-2018 04:55 PM

Arizona gave up 450 yards to a team led by CJ Beathard.

Their offense has not scored more than 21 points in a game this year and just topped 300 yards in a game for the first time last week. LMAO

I really want to place $500 on this.

KChiefs1 11-04-2018 04:55 PM

Josh Rosen at Arrowhead.

eDave 11-04-2018 04:56 PM

I don't think I've even seen a Cards jersey this year.

pugsnotdrugs19 11-04-2018 05:02 PM

I don’t know what the spread is, but if the Chiefs don’t cover at home it will feel like a loss against these pumpkins.

Flying High D 11-04-2018 05:18 PM

^ played pumpkins today, these are the radishes.

Deberg_1990 11-04-2018 05:21 PM

Josh Rosen goes for 300 in this game...

cmh6476 11-04-2018 05:26 PM

Staff outing for this one

Why Not? 11-04-2018 05:28 PM

52-3

Randallflagg 11-04-2018 05:29 PM

Chiefs - 42

Arizona - 10

Flying High D 11-04-2018 05:32 PM

Chiefs will be smashing appleheads, it will be like luring a little bird to your windowsill with breadcrumbs and then smashing it’s head with the window. Just like the cadence in basic training.

Sassy Squatch 11-04-2018 05:35 PM

Chiefs at Arrowhead should raw dog these fools.

live.numberfire.com already has us at 99% to win.

Direckshun 11-04-2018 05:44 PM

It’s probably too much to hope for the return of Sorensen and Berry this week. It would be a great rust-shaker to prepare them for Mexico City.

BryanBusby 11-04-2018 05:45 PM

We're gonna **** them IN THE EAR

Flying High D 11-04-2018 05:48 PM

Sorensen could definitely play after a third week of practice. Berry definitely won’t though.

Sofa King 11-04-2018 06:58 PM

I'm going to this game. So i hope it's as good as the last cardinals game i went to, which was 49-0

We're gonna kill these guys. But, I have every confidence that the team will not look past them. They will crush them and then move on to the Rams.

god dammit

i want to bet but the chiefs screwed me when they didnt cover @Denver

Pablo 11-04-2018 07:50 PM

They're ****ing trash and we should abuse them. The end.

petegz28 11-04-2018 07:51 PM

Cards got a D and will bring it. Our offense will not have a walk in the park on Sunday. Our defense on the other hand sucks enough to make Rosen think he has a chance.

We win easily but still. Mahomes will have to have his head on a swivel cause the Cards blitz like crazy it seems.

Fade a line like this. Just not worth it. There's any number of ways the Cards could cover, including a bunch of them via fluky garbage-time shit which often screws you on big favorite lines like this.

Bet on KC at +4 or so when they play the Rams. Easy money.

Use the Chiefs as a throw in on a money line parlay or maybe a teaser. 17 points is way to much for an NFL team, on principle. Now, I think we win and cover but that's a stay away from.

Yep. The guys I confer with before laying action every week always say the same things on these type of lines. You're one bad snap away from having to cover 24 just to get a push. No way I'm taking that on any game not started by Nathan Peterman.

The Cardinals are much, much worse than Denver.

DaFace 11-04-2018 08:35 PM

I haven't paid any attention to the Cardinals at all this year aside from knowing that they suck. Is there anything that they DO well that we'll have to at least be mildly worried about? Are there any horrific weaknesses that we can expect to see exploited heavily?

Just because our defense sucks shit through a straw, David Johnson might have a decent game

They're pretty good at putting their jerseys on.

These games against bottom feeders are a bit blase, I'll admit.

I'm glad the team doesn't feel that way, though.

Ya know what I’d like to see?

Andy Reid going all second team against Arizona and for him to split the coaching staff into 2 groups.

Eric Bienemys group works with the second team offense to have a game plan designed to beat Arizona. Andy Reid and the starters take 2 weeks to prepare for the Rams. Andy has shown to be highly effective with an extra week to prepare for an opponent. This is a huge game. I know we have an extra day to prep because it’s mnf but Andy has been lethal with that extra week.

Rams and Cardinals are equally meaningful. Both NFC teams. No more no less

I know which one I’d rather lose and it sure as heck isn’t the Cardinals

This is exactly the game to get them back. You don't want them going cold into a Rams game.
