2020 College Football
 

With many teams/conferences withdrawing from competition this year, it's going to be an interesting race to the top. My bold prediction? Army is the only team to play enough games to be eligible for a bowl and wins the National Championship by default.

Army shut out Middle Tennessee, Navy got destroyed by BYU, and Air Force is too scared to play anybody other than the other academies. Who'd you watch this weekend?

I only watched the SMU Texas St game.

It was pretty clear the lack of preparation hurt both teams. Entertaining game nonetheless.

The battle for the second-best team in Oklahoma is a real nail biter. Tulsa leads OSU 7-3. Tulsa made a field goal earlier in the game, but the TU coach inexplicably iced his kicker moments before.

Navy is once again demonstrating their ineptitude, currently losing 24-0 to Tulane.

I’m still mad that 22-ranked Army doesn’t get to play this weekend to extend their dominance to 3-0.

The QB for the Ragin Cajuns just made a couple nice plays to score on GState. Second throw showed some good arm talent, off-platform, accurate with good velocity. On the other side of the ball, the CBs for GState look pretty good.

And then he follows that up by throwing a bad pick. Oh well.

Really? Oklahoma's defenses have looked like JV level talent when they play against the Alabama's/LSU's/Clemson's in the CFP and even against middle level Big 12 teams.

Lincoln Riley has essentially wasted top level talent on offense and at QB during the past 5 years because of the issues on defense.

Leach... who was hired late in the process (late January)... no spring practice/normal offseason to fully implement his offensive system... brings his team into the national champion's house and shreds their defense for an SEC single game passing record of 600+ yards passing.

Leach is awesome. If Miami would have hired him as their HC after firing Larry Coker 15 years ago (he was a finalist for the job but they went with Randy Shannon instead), they would have won multiple NC's.
