Thank you

DaneMcCloud 04-08-2013 11:29 AM

Aw, that sucks. I guess that's three: Annette, Margaret Thatcher and Andy Johns in the past 24 hours.

Such a drag, especially for me because of Andy.

I'm gonna say yes, I would have. Now, not so much.

One of my all time favorite Italian hotties. R.I.P.

She's probably still warm.

CrazyPhuD 04-08-2013 06:13 PM

She always made my toy soldier salute!(granted that's really all I ever saw her in!)

Pepe Silvia 04-08-2013 06:20 PM

RIP, very sad news. she had been really sick for years. :(

Rain Man 04-08-2013 06:39 PM

It takes most of the fun out of the bikini dance thread.

Most, not all.

Kaepernick 04-08-2013 07:23 PM

Mama mia, that's a spicy matsaball.

RIP and yes, MS is no laughing matter. Such a shame. She was considered a very nice person in Hollywood.

WhawhaWhat 04-08-2013 07:33 PM

Didn't know who she was until today.

Annette Funicello was Italian, born to Italian immigrants.

Matzo balls are a Jewish delicacy and are made from meal, not beef.

And they are not spicy.

gblowfish 04-08-2013 08:05 PM

That's a balcony you could do Shakespeare from...

houstonwhodat 04-08-2013 08:28 PM

She was actually dead a long time ago.

They just officially pulled the plug today.

MeatRock 04-08-2013 08:34 PM

She had some nice melons for sure. Sad. RIP

I have no clue how old you are. I forget that younger people won't get these older references. If you older than 40 then you should remember the Alka Seltzer commercials as they were pretty darn funny. If you are under 40, then you probably never saw them so yes, my reference would be lost on you. I simply played with the word "meatball" to "mahtsaball", while the Alka Seltzer commercials use the original word.

Again, if you have to explain something, then it isn't funny...

And I know all about Annette Funicello. I watched her as a Mouseketeer live and in living black and white on the home TV. I never missed an episode of the Mickey Mouse Club, although probably reruns by the time I watched them.

M-I-C... See you real soon. K-E-Y... Why, because he likes you. M-O-U-S-E.

Yeah, this one really bugged me. She was my early teen dream girl.:sulk:

OldNewb 04-09-2013 08:07 AM

My dad used to piss my mom off by telling me that Annette used to make him "sticky sock". Didn't figure that one out for years. Well..uhhh...until Catherine Bach ("Daisy Duke") made me "sticky sock". :)

Had to google Andy Johns; not really in the same category of recognition as Margaret and Annette...still waiting for number 3.
