I'm putting stock into Billay's Mom
|
PYPL, NVDA, AAPL
|
Would need to include the % of each three in the portfolio...or do all three have to beat the s&p?
|
Wait? So I can submit my picks on April 10th and you will use the April 1st price?
The best strategy might be to pick the three stocks that have done the best between April 1st and April 10th. |

CVNA - currently moving 440k cars per year. Recent acquisition of an auto auction company will quickly accelerate their growth provided management executed effectively. At full capacity, this looks like 2.5m cars resulting in annual cash flow of 6b compared to a present market cap of 24b. Roughly 25% cash on cash.
AMD is likely to continue to capture intels existing market share, resulting in rapid growth. I will continue to ponder my third choice and let you know later |
STNE, BABA, PYPL

I decided to go with
AMZN GOOGL BERK.B Amazon and Google are both doing a 20 for 1 split around June and I expect people will pile in when the prices are more reasonable Buffet just prints money |
Sounds fun.
NVDA CFIHX OKE |
SCHB
SCHF SCHH Not sure what your plan is, but it could be interesting to track this for more than 12 months. In a single year, it's mostly just luck that will get you a high return. The plan of attack shows it value over a longer period. |
I’ll send the winner of this a bottle of booze.

Not sure I really have a plan for anything. Just thought it might be fun thing to do. Since portfolio managers are able to ad / remove their stocks as they please maybe at some point we'll allow us all to add / remove one stock every qtr. or something. What do you guys think. I don't want to make this a full time job. |

So the 3 we pick we have to keep for a full year? No selling for profits then buying back in after a dip? I have kicked the S&P's ASS the last 3 years, but not with this strategy.
And the "no meme stocks" talk in the other thread is ****ing reeruned, it's a thread about INVESTING. Like it or not, trading meme stocks is still INVESTING. But I get it, we have a Where's Waldo-looking, douchebag mod with an inferiority complex on a power trip. |

After giving some thought I've revised rule #3 as to the deadline. All entries need to be in by April 1.
My original thinking was to give more time so more people could join, but realizing that nearly every day there are stocks that jump 100% and someone could grab three of those through a screener and start with those and it would just throw things out of wack. |

Some momentum stocks that seem to be running right now, might be good for a swing.
MOS Fertilizer in short supply CF Same as above ADM NTR CTVA DE John Deere has gone from $173 on 1/1/20 to $436 in two years over 150% |
Always love hearing Buffetts thoughts

Tesla is going to ask for shareholder approval for a stock split. No doubt it'll go through. That makes GOOGL, AMZN and TSLA all with upcoming splits.
You know, if a company would just announce , every time our stock hits $1000 we will automatically split 5/1 it would just be a never ending money printer. |
AMC volume 141,000,000 with 2 hours left
Avg 10 day volume is 59,000,000 $30 tomorrow ????? |

Great day. Like I said in the thread I was unjustly banned from, this shit is easy if you just have patience. You boomers with your 3-5% gains are missing out, the new market is passing you by.
