Jewish Rabbi 01-08-2019 04:24 PM

I wonder if he’ll wear the same penis hat on the sidelines as he wore in the booth.

TwistedChief 01-08-2019 04:25 PM

Chiefs/Browns. Early in the second quarter.

Arians: “This is becoming a game of field position.”

That may have been the second most inane thing I’ve ever heard watching sports. The first?

Mets broadcaster and HOFer Ralph Kiner: “Its Father’s Day at the ballpark today and I’d like to wish all the fathers a very happy birthday.”

I’m just disappointed it’s another three seasons until we play the Bucs.

Rivaldo 01-08-2019 04:25 PM

I have Jameis and Barber in a Dynasty league. Good news.

pugsnotdrugs19 01-08-2019 04:25 PM

Anything that gets him out of the booth will work for me

I thought he was too tired to coach anymore? Sounds tired and mumbly in the broadcast booth.

dannybcaitlyn 01-08-2019 04:45 PM

Hopefully he doesn’t take Bowles with him.

CupidStunt 01-08-2019 04:45 PM

I get coming out of retirement (probably just misses it), so I don't blame him for that, but this makes his comment that he'd only do so for the Browns job look even more stupid than it was when he said it.

I wondered how long that would take. Wasn’t disappointed.....post #s 2 and 3.

Coochie liquor 01-08-2019 04:55 PM

Over rated!

Clyde Frog 01-08-2019 04:56 PM

Can you imagine his pep talks? If they're anything like his booth work...yikes

Sassy Squatch 01-08-2019 05:08 PM

Anything that booths him out of the take is fine by me.

What I learned about Bruce Arians from his time in the broadcast booth is that he is a twat. Glad I don't have to listen to his terrible takes any longer.

Pablo 01-08-2019 05:31 PM

Hoping Vance Joseph can take his spot in the booth and provide some hot takes.

Gravedigger 01-08-2019 05:35 PM

But whatever happened to "The Browns is the only job I would be interested in?" Sounds like bullshit to me! Have fun with Jameis Winston and all the success that he'll undoubtedly bring you!

Trent: Vance, what are you thinking, as a head coach, in that type of pressure situation?
Vance: https://media.giphy.com/media/l2QE6c...7XHy/giphy.gif
Trent: Vance? Vance?

Reerun_KC 01-08-2019 05:51 PM

And people bash the kingsbury hire by AZ.

Arians is trash as a coach.

Reerun_KC 01-08-2019 05:52 PM

Passing the trash

You can say that again!

Chief Northman 01-08-2019 06:00 PM

His wife needs to tell him to shut it down. Arians is a brash talking charlatan. He quit on the Cards.

saphojunkie 01-08-2019 06:03 PM

bUT DOES tHIS GET hIM OUT OF the bOOTH

wazu 01-08-2019 06:28 PM

He’s hiring Bowles as his D-Coordinator. Kinda glad to see the Bucs scooping up good coaches. Fewer for the Broncos to choose from.

big nasty kcnut 01-08-2019 06:33 PM

I glad the booth got out of arians.

I didn't like him in the broadcast booth, so I actually appreciated that he sounded tired and mumbly.

I would enjoy the Monday night broadcast better if Booger McFarland was tired, mumbly, and basically inaudible.

The Franchise 01-08-2019 06:39 PM

Hired Bowles as his DC.

jallmon 01-08-2019 06:40 PM

Agree whole heartedly with the above about him not being in the booth any longer. He was biased, boring, and otherwise horrible.

He would probably be much better off with an OC gig than an HC one. The Bucs definitely would be. With him as coach, I look for the Bucs to suck for another 5 years, or until they wise up and dump the toad.

Leftwich is his OC.

Arians will definitely be crawling up some Winston arse.;)

This smells like its all about padding the 'Bruce Arians retirement fund'

wazu 01-08-2019 09:16 PM

This is the only HC hire so far that doesn't jump out immediately as mind-blowingly stupid.

Kevin Ross is joining the staff as well.

LMAO

Rasputin 01-09-2019 12:15 AM

Thank God he won't be back in the booth next year.

Damn! I will miss him in the booth. I was glued to his comments.

On the plus side, he has experience with rapey QBs......

Me too, but like most of the good ones I figured he’d be snatched up long before we get around to interviewing. (If we even do.)

BleedingRed 01-09-2019 09:34 AM

Bruce is the type of friend who says he too tired to go out drinking, then you see him later at a bar hammering shots by himself.

Mr_Tomahawk 01-09-2019 09:35 AM

Bruce is the JoCo version of Andy.

Not a fan of this, though it's probably good for the Bucs.

I get entertainment out of the Bucs being a hot mess. The memes, the highlights, the cray pep talks. The bonehead screwups.

The Bucs will probably get better and more boring at the same time.

Wouldn’t want this guy changing bed pans let alone coaching an NFL team.

So couldnt find a blog, but found an article. Hes an even bigger douche than I thought.

http://www.espn.com/blog/tampa-bay-b...jameis-winston

Some gems in here;

Hes a self-proclaimed QB whisperer

His mentality is "no risk it, no biscuit" lmao.

Already has a relationship with Winston and "affectionally" calls him "Jaboo".

God, this ****ing dude is such a douche bag. Hopefully he chokes on his hat. Id be furious to be a god damn Bucs fan.

Nevermind on Bowles. Apparently he's looking at taking over the DC job in Chicago with Nagy.

I absolutely love Rex and his quirkiness but he is definitely an acquired taste and can see why some don't enjoy him

ChiefBlueCFC 01-09-2019 12:08 PM

Heard Bowles is going to be the DC in Tampa and that kinda made me sad, I was hoping that maybe we would fire Bob Sutton and Bowles would end up in KC
