Retweet Jets would like to sign WR Jerricho Cotchery. They aren't alone. Chiefs have expressed "significant interest" in J-Co, per source. #nfl Jerricho Cotchery - WR - Steelers The New York Daily News reports the Chiefs have "significant interest" in free agent Jerricho Cotchery. Cotchery would be no higher than fourth on the depth chart in Kansas City. The Jets have also expressed interest in bringing back Cotchery, but he isn't know to have yet scheduled any visits. Ok, do not want...

LMAO
What? Why?
wha?
237 yards last season
6 years, 42 million, 19.75 guaranteed
Cheap and washed up... Fat Scott's favorite.
WTF for?
Word is he was the best guy in the building at picking up Rex Ryan's candy wrappers.

Tree! Tree!

IS he a WR / QB because mark castle will not be able to get him the ball , we need more rb & fb :(
Terrible idea.
Was Johnnie Morton not available? |
Bowe's replacement
The printer hasn't worked in ages........
um. ok.
What's wrong with a 4th WR upgrade????
Did Thomas Jones punch Baldwin on his way out the door?
He's coming off a 16 catch season. Wow, really, 30 million in cap space and we want 29 year receiver coming off of a 16 catch season??

We LOVE broken down old wideouts.... Toomer, Colbert, Urban et al...
Is this like going to be the equivalent to an MLB signing a bullpen catcher or something..
Maybe he is just one of the very few FA's that want US.
someone has to get the coffee.
Can he play QB?

Bowe holdout alert.
He has no scheduled visits and we are signifigantly interested. Great.
This is one of those...OK...whatever moments. Sign him. Don't sign him. I don't give a shit.

The Jets will beat us to him. No worries.

You know, when I look at the holes on this roster, WR5 just jumps off the page.

Why?

Wow CP hears the Chiefs name in a report for a player that would be 4th on the depth chart and all hell breaks loose.

If Pioli signs Winston, he can go out and sign Cotchery or any other 5th stringer he wants as far as I'm concerned.

Some on here see good players that could actually IMPROVE the team and our FO hasn't shown a willingness to do damn thing about it. You'll forgive us, if some actually want a better team and aren't concerned with some POS scrub, trying to make a team. |

Positives: Looks faster than he is, so Cassel's throws will hit him in the chest instead of the ankles. Impossible to run out of Cassel's range in the few seconds the ball will still be in the QB's hands.
Terrible.

Scott Pioli's mental shunt-trip has been stuck in the 'stupid' position for a while, now.
Still in Pioli's broom closet.
Keenan McCardell scehduled to visit the Chiefs on Friday.
I wonder what it's like for your team to sign someone who is worth a shit
As what, the water boy? Unreal......
did they find him in a dumpster outside of arrowhead?

We don't need more receivers. Our QB can't get the ball to the ones we have. Who are all better BTW.
WTF is Pioli thinking? JFC |
Quote:
Fat Scott better find a qb that can get the ball to his third option at WR first. |
Also... I've expressed "significant interest" in Kate Upton. Similar results are expected...
A fourth WR on this team might get a lot of looks since check downs are the only passes we complete
Rae Caruth got his sentenced reduced Monday, he's due in friday.

Amani Toomer is in remission, scheduled visits with KC and STL.
Is Brett Perriman or Peter Warrick available?
He is actually perfect for the team and cassel. It will allow us to release bowe.
Just think, once the ball is hiked cassel can wince around for 5-6 seconds then lob the ball to him as he is finished using his burners for the 5yard deep ball. If we get enough slow rbs/fbs we can move them to wr and go 4 wide. Teams won't know what to do. |

Retweet Favorite · Open Jets expressed interest in WR Jerricho Cotchery earlier this week. Now, Cotchery is scheduled to visit Chiefs on Mon + Tues, per source #nfl |
This would be for depth. He won't get on the field opposite Bowe.
They may be thinking about re-signing Thomas Jones?
Sooo.... Clay's dream, no more McCluster as WR?

Something to challenge Baldwin?
I'd prefer they threw this money at a Backup Safety, but I suppose they can go that route with the Draft. |
The butthurt on this guy is pretty outrageous. Couple mil as a 4th WR - who gives a ****? He's better than anything else they have. Damn good WR a couple years back, steady decline but hardly incapable. And yall know with Castle at QB there's not much chance he gets a look with Bowe to feed and then the other Bs, plus Moeaki, Boss and Charles in checkdown roles, aka Castle's favorite routes.

I don't care at all because this would be a throw-away signing--low money and few years. But it does remind me of the mistake that was obviously made with McReach, and that's decently annoying when one just wants to forget about some things.
in case Bowe refuses to sign?
has to be a better option |
Are people thinking he'd be a starter? I'm thinking 4th on depth chart, which I'd be fine with.
