Deshaun Watson being accused of sexual assault?
|
I fear this could really derail Houston's offseason.....
|
Next DeBerg thread: Is Deshaun Watson a better rapist than Ben Roethlisberger in his prime?
|
Wow. The Texans are a train wreck.
|
Maybe Deshaun was the one who got assaulted
|
Sounds like made up BS to me.
|
It may be for the whole city of Houston :hmmm:
|
In case you wanted some info on that attorney from his Wikipedia page:
Buzbee appeared on the cover of The New York Times magazine in November 2010 regarding his role in the litigation against BP following the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The article described him as "one of the most successful trial lawyers in the country". |
Now they'll trade him.
|
Other GMs can't dial Houston fast enough. They'll give him away now.
|
What a D-bag to post a picture of the guy and then talk about how he represents perceived power.
Well... you did post a picture of him exclusively. In football uniform. |
No idea about the validity of what's going on here, but these are the times I'm so thankful that Mahomes is with his high school girlfriend. It reduces the likelihood of these sorts of incidents by 90%.
|
Yikes
Hope this is BS |
way too early to have an opinion...

it's not safe anymore to just bang skanks and not return phone calls

Also, that attorney has run for office a few times and has been both a Republican and Democrat.
I’d say there’s an argument that this is just him getting publicity for another run in the future. |

Watson fires back: https://twitter.com/deshaunwatson/st...486771712?s=21
I don’t believe one bit of this phony ass lawyer’s nonsense. Not with the way he started this deal. |
Watson seems like a good dude. That obviously means nothing. But if you're asking me if I need to decide if Watson did it or Easterby is trying to force him to stay, I'd say 50/50.

Let's give Deshaun the same length we gave Tyreek.

The ****ing lawyer is neighbors with McNair.
Smear job through and through. |

Just the way this is worded seems like total tv lawyer fake ass bullshit
|
This is some ****ing bullshit by the Texans. Deshaun deserves so much better than this
|
From a Texans fan on their forum... JFC.... This fanbase is clueless.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The alleged Deshaun Watson sexual assault lawsuit? We’ll see what it amounts to. The attorney at the heart of it has a layered resume as a failed mayoral candidate who files big lawsuits and once referred to late <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Texans?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Texans</a> owner Bob McNair as “my neighbor”. <a href="https://t.co/aTwb73EfSs">https://t.co/aTwb73EfSs</a></p>— Charles Robinson (@CharlesRobinson) <a href="https://twitter.com/CharlesRobinson/status/1372056529084502016?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 17, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

After what Tyreek was put through I’ll need to see a signed affidavit admitting guilt before I believe any claim like this again.
|
even tho i believe watson should man up to the contract he signed, you have to withold judgement until the process plays out :thumb:
|
Well, there it is...NFL creating another saga of off-season soap opera drama...and the dopes continue to buy it.
NFL is a pop-culture joke...every year, another star player. |
Yikes.
Seems like a load of crap at first glance. But you never know. Sure feels like the final nail in the coffin for his career in Houston. |
Playas will be Playas. Don't rule Mahomes out yet.
Mahome's came from a home where there was a relationship without conflicts regarding evection, utilities shut off, or parents in jail., unlike what some of these (ghetto) players came from. Quote:

Hopefully, it's just that ... a farce. DW seems like a good guy, but who knows.
Aside from all that, maybe Denver can find a way to acquire him. |
I thought we were supposed to believe all women now? Isn't this Woman month?
|
Deshaun Watson paid someone off to accuse him falsely of a sexual assault to get away from the Texans organization.
https://i.gifer.com/1ATP.gif |
Sounds like bullshit. I doubt this goes anywhere.
|
Breaking News: Brooke Pryor as requested a trade to Houston. There are 4 commas in that tweet and this injustice cannot stand.
|
If McNair and Easterby ginned this up just to go after Watson, I hope they both end up penniless and Watson is the future owner of the Texans. Easterby sounds like just the kind of guy that would do this too.

Has the Houston newspaper called for him to be released yet? It’s the only responsible thing to do.

If this is all false and somehow the organization had a hand in this I can't see what was gained by them. Unless they have decided that the relationship was broken and were going to destroy Watson for it or something it make no sense.

So why aren't we hearing this after his trade?
Fact they didn't move him before this come out says it all, lol. |
After the Tyreek incident, I ain't believin' nothin' I read in the media. This one has to shake out. It just does not feel legit. I don't know Watson of course, but this just doesn't feel right at all. I'm rooting for him to get out of that dump and go...like to the NFC or something...
|
Seems like someone filing a BS Law suit and trying to garner attention in the media. An instagram post . . . . . really?
Apparently this 'attorney' tried to get Deshaun to settle out of court for a 'lump sum' on behalf of his client, but he (Deshaun) wouldn't bite. But it's not about the money . . . . . . . Looks like another witch hunt for a successful young black athlete (much like with Tyreek), but with a completely different set of circumstances. But, yeah, Houston MAY try and trade him now, due to public's perceived sentiment and wanting to cash out before the stock drops more. Regardless of what they (Texans) ultimately decide to do, hopefully the organization at least publicly stands by him and supports him through this seemingly frivolous B.S. lawsuit, much like the KC organization did with Tyreek. |

2 things:
1) He can move his penis, but she can't move her hand? 2) Is there anyone in Houston that hasn't experienced some form of gender abuse? FAX |
watch houston trade him to the raiders now that the raiders have cut their o-line ROFL
|
Maybe there's some credence. But for Watson to admit that this could have been settled and swept under the rug and he chose to fight it... Either his lawyer is a moron or he's very confident this is not true.

Modern rules for interpersonal interactions are very confusing. On the one hand, we are asked to support transgender athletics featuring shared locker rooms in junior high while requiring six-figure compensation for unwanted dick-displays. I view it this way; requesting a handjob should not be a crime if the requestee is allowed to say "no" without fear of reprisal. FAX |

Don't put out a statement saying something like "I've only ever treated women with the utmost respect". It just lowers the bar to where any woman he might have had an unpleasant encounter with could come out saying "well he didn't treat ME with respect" and before you blink the narrative can turn into "hmm he already lied about how he treats women, what else is he lying about?"
And especially don't do it if you're saying you're being falsely accused of a sex crime. If multiple women would make up an accusation at that level, how easy would it be for some to make up a story about, say, the time he rudely pushed past them at the club and then said "shut up, nasty ass bitch" when they said something? If it's all a big conspiracy against him they should already have people coming forward with stories about how disrespectful to women he can be. Maybe it's a drawback to being at odds with the team and not having their lawyers and PR people go over his statement first. Whoever he has working for him might need help. |
