New England just got Gordon back

Let's go, you Patriot Way ****ers.

rabblerouser 08-16-2019 04:36 PM

Good.

No excuses when we wax that azz in January.

Rain Man 08-16-2019 04:38 PM

Unless the Patriots cheat, he'll last about two games until his next suspension.

Of course the Patriots WILL cheat, but he still won't make it more than six games.

comochiefsfan 08-16-2019 04:42 PM

None of this will matter once Brady’s arm fails him.

Remember Peyton’s last season? He was the MVP of the league until his arm fell off his shoulder. Then he got benched for Brock Osweiler.

This is the year that Father Time catches up to Brady. He was already struggling to throw the ball further than 35 yards at the end of last season. It’s going to happen and it’s not going to be pretty.

TribalElder 08-16-2019 04:45 PM

Good god they are struggling to keep the patriots relevant this season

MMXcalibur 08-16-2019 04:51 PM

Everyone deserves a 2510985710953871098515th chance.

Hammock Parties 08-16-2019 04:52 PM

Gordon back...the NFL's new pass interference bullshit....

...get ready for more ref ****ery.

We just have to hope for another Pollarding.

New World Order 08-16-2019 05:01 PM

They have some big receivers on the outside

Brady is going to throw a lot of back shoulder throws and jump balls.

ToxSocks 08-16-2019 05:03 PM

How many ****ing 2nd chances does that guy get? JFC

TLO 08-16-2019 05:08 PM

He'll be suspended again by week 8.

SAUTO 08-16-2019 05:10 PM

Come on guys... did you really think they were going to suspend a guy for life over weed and alcohol?

The weed ban is going away.

staylor26 08-16-2019 05:11 PM

Not the least bit worried. Just stop their run game and we’ll beat them.

Eh well I kind of feel bad for the guy. I don't know that he's some shit human being, he just has a drug problem. I'm rooting for him to put it together at this point.

BlackOp 08-16-2019 05:12 PM

How long are the NFL/Media shock jocks/Goodell going to pretend Kraft didn't get arrested in a sex trafficking sting...Florio hasn't written a moral high-horse article about it. No one has..

Little "Bobby" has muzzled the press...

How good can he actually be at this point? He's been so on/off in his football career that i doubt he's remotely close to the same guy he was in Cleveland.

Not our problem.

pugsnotdrugs19 08-16-2019 05:36 PM

He’ll be gone before long again.

And even if he isn’t, he wasn’t the same player last year.

There’s just no way. He hasn’t been perfecting his craft over the years like most 28 year olds NFL players.

People who smoke weed don't have a 'drug problem.'

The NFL is STUPID for allowing players to habitually overindulge in alcohol and painkillers (and also basically turning a blind eye to cocaine), but keeping marijuana on the banned substances list.

****ing STUPID.

Players get tested once a year in March/April. The NFL really doesn't give a shit if players smoke. Players are the dumb ones to get caught.

And Josh Gordon admitted to playing drunk a lot of games.

FlaChief58 08-16-2019 06:10 PM

It sounds like rodg was told to let tommy boy win another one... Welp, maybe next year.

He has a problem
He can't stop doing drugs for millions. Weed or not that's a drug addict.

Mecca 08-16-2019 06:22 PM

Gordon's tested positive for way more shit than weed. He talked in an interview about getting ****ed up on Xanax when he was in 8th grade, he has some serious drug problems.

Well...that's fair. I was going to say that his drug problems don't appear to be much worse than my own, but...I've been completely clean off everything for 8 months now, so...

I can't judge him for that; I LOVED Xanax in 8th grade...and 9th grade...and 10th grade...

smithandrew051 08-16-2019 06:42 PM

Who cares? What good is a deep threat with a QB that doesn’t have the arm to throw deep anymore?

You'd think, but he was actually really, really good last year. A great fantasy football WR when Gronk was out. He and Edelman will be a very good duo.

Naptown Chief 08-16-2019 08:07 PM

He'll be on life support within 2 months from injecting arm marijuanas

Now Brady is kissing him. If Obummer had a son that played football he would be like Gordon.

He does but there are people who have had far worse drug problems than him and gotten clean. We'll see what happens but don't chalk him up as a guarantee to get suspended just yet.

This is why you shouldn't inbreed folks.

Hammock Parties 08-16-2019 11:30 PM

Nothing would be sweeter than seeing Brady's noodle arm screw up throwing downfield to Gordon, who then gets pissed off and bitches about it and the team loses a couple games and he decides to go smoke weed to feel better and gets busted and suspended again.

This needs to happen.

TEX 08-17-2019 02:41 AM

He'll get suspended again. That's his thing and he's very good at it.

SupDock 08-17-2019 06:22 AM

I hope he stays clean, but it kind of pisses me off that he was nailed in Cleveland and then gets leniency with New England

Dude was suspended for drinking after week 17, was told that even though his season was over, the season wasnt

Discuss Thrower 08-17-2019 06:59 AM

What kinda career could he and Justin Blackmon have had if they didn't have substance abuse issues.

Deberg_1990 08-17-2019 07:15 AM

Nice. Will take a flyer on him
In my fantasy draft.

1400 yards, 11 TDs

Easy 6 08-17-2019 07:29 AM

Hey the Patriots have Josh Gordon over here!

See, nobody cares

1960Pats 08-17-2019 08:38 AM

We're in the process of moving so I've had limited online time and spent that on Patsfans.com

Thanks for the happy birthday wish in June btw.

We got all the bad karma from the intial Pollarding already....your franchise infected us with Pioli and Cassel and we're really just now recovering finally.

We've paid our dues...now it's time for you to pay the piper.

And we all know who has the biggest pipe in the NFL now...

Simply Red 08-17-2019 01:35 PM

at this point, him and Watkins wash out.

tmax63 08-17-2019 01:38 PM

Does JG really matter? Brady's arm can't throw the deep ball anymore with any zip so what good does having him really mean. A lot of "back shoulder" or "deep come-backs" throws. Meanwhile PM will be hitting TH in stride at 60 yards

He mattered enough to have 720 yards in 11 games last year. Regardless of Brady's arm strength, he's still a top tier QB and Gordon has shown to be a complete WR when he's not suspended.

Bowser 08-17-2019 02:03 PM

Brady is a top tier QB... until he's not.

Same as it was for Manning and every other old fart QB to play past the time he should have called it quits.
