Missouri Rolling...

28-0 in the middle of the 2nd against McNeese St

Henry Josey has 4 carries for 108 yards and 3 TD's!

Gabbert - 13\13 116 yards

Moe - 6 catches for 57 yards

Egnew - 4 catches for 30 yards

Moore has a TD running the ball as well.

kepp 09-11-2010 05:55 PM

That can't be. Gabbert is too inaccurate for that.

ArrowheadHawk 09-11-2010 05:55 PM

After all the respect today. Go MU.

The question is, are we going to keep that name when we sack Webb/Pick for a safety this year?

Oh okay, a new thread, cool :)

SAFETY! 30-0

|Zach| 09-11-2010 06:01 PM

Henry Josey is the first Mizzou true freshman with 3 TD's in a game since Corby Jones vs. Iowa State in 1995.

McNeese St. is #10 in the FCS. NDSU is #9 and James Madison is #1. Mizzou beating McNeese. St like this has to count for something.

I thought that said North Dakota St., lol. I need to pay attention. But my point is Mizzou is beating a Top 10 FCS program, while Va Tech and KU have lost to lower FCS programs.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-11-2010 11:09 PM

Watched the game from beginning to end at a local bar.

Josey had some nice stats, but he had absolutely gaping holes to run behind. I don't think he was touched on any of his three TD runs.

Gabbert threw the ball accurately, but Yost foolishly called short passes all half. Given that this was just a glorified scrimmage, it would have been nice to see us work on the downfield game.

Gabbert is really developing a rapport with TJ Moe and Ebner. He made a really pretty throw to the corner of the EZ on his last toss of the day.

That said, McNeese was awful, and you can't really take much from this game, although Aldon Smith ran down a back from about 10 yards behind on a screen play, taking an angle and running him down like he was prey.

The McNeese QB was horrible and gift wrapped three picks for the secondary.

He has been impressive. So has Brad Madison. I would say that J Smith has some competition creeping up on him. A great problem to have if you are a Mizzou fan, not so much if you are J Smith.

Madison & Sam have allowed us to redshirt Ealy. Hopefully Aldon stays for next year, w/ Sheldon coming in, Ealy playing, along w/ Madison, Sam & Jacquies....

And Dom Hamilton. The key is Aldon. I've heard everything from a top 10 pick to "too small" for the NFL right now. Hopefully he stays. I don't even begin to understand the NFL lockout implications, but maybe that will help sway his decision to stay.

Yeah forgot him, but i've never been a huge fan of his anyways. He seems to lack explosiveness. I expect he'll lose carries to the frosh RB's as the season goes on.

I'm going to next week's game against SDSU. I expect we'll know more about the type of team we have this year after the game, as they are a solid team.
