That can't be. Gabbert is too inaccurate for that.

SAFETY! 30-0
|
Henry Josey is the first Mizzou true freshman with 3 TD's in a game since Corby Jones vs. Iowa State in 1995.
|
Impressive! McNeese is so tough! ;)

Looking forward to seeing what Franklin to do. People have been saying great things about his time in Columbia.
|
Another INT. 3 tonight, 6 on the season. We had 8 all of last year.
|
And Franklin fumbles....
|
McNeese St. is #10 in the FCS. NDSU is #9 and James Madison is #1. Mizzou beating McNeese. St like this has to count for something.

I thought that said North Dakota St., lol. I need to pay attention. But my point is Mizzou is beating a Top 10 FCS program, while Va Tech and KU have lost to lower FCS programs. |

True. Will Mizzou be ranked in the Top 25, though? |

I would say they will be close to the edge. Which I don't have a problem with. |

There goes the shutout.
EPIC FAIL |
How much do we pay these teams to come here? I've never liked these shit games.

Those other 1a schools that lost to 1aa didn't. Nothing more, nothing less. |

But we didn't embarass ourselves either. Unlike Vatech against JMU, KU against NDSU, Gtech against KU, Ole Miss against JackSt, etc. |
I'll place 50-6 in the ass-whipping column

Northern Iowa must be really tough. |

Watched the game from beginning to end at a local bar.
Josey had some nice stats, but he had absolutely gaping holes to run behind. I don't think he was touched on any of his three TD runs. Gabbert threw the ball accurately, but Yost foolishly called short passes all half. Given that this was just a glorified scrimmage, it would have been nice to see us work on the downfield game. Gabbert is really developing a rapport with TJ Moe and Ebner. He made a really pretty throw to the corner of the EZ on his last toss of the day. That said, McNeese was awful, and you can't really take much from this game, although Aldon Smith ran down a back from about 10 yards behind on a screen play, taking an angle and running him down like he was prey. The McNeese QB was horrible and gift wrapped three picks for the secondary. |

DWash who? Jose, Lawrence, and Murphy seem like they'll be able to handle the load at RB.
Nice to see Moe stepping up this year and utilizing his athleticism. |

I'm going to next week's game against SDSU. I expect we'll know more about the type of team we have this year after the game, as they are a solid team. |
Shit... I can't believe they moved them up that high. Sweet!

Nice to see them there, but I'm not going to get overly enthusiastic yet.

Anyone have a video replay of the last MU TD? |
Didn't get to watch the game... this score troubles me, though. Is SDSU supposed to be any good? I honestly don't know...
