Cheering for the Padres. Hosmer, Myers and a couple pitchers.

If not them, go Rays

If not them, then go Braves

If not them, go anybody but the Patriots....I mean Astros.

Not sure why but it feels good to see Padres back in the mix

Fun team. Small market. Some loveable ex Royals.

Definitely rooting for the Padres. They're fun to watch.

Unfortunately looks like our rooting interest is going to be short lived if they don’t get some better at bats. Hosmer and Machado looked like pitchers at the plate tonight.

Rays now representing all that is good and pure to end the Cheaters run. If they don't put away the Astros, I'll need to adopt the national league team. Blegh.

Rays vs Braves would be such a fun WS. A team that’s never won it that represents playing somewhat the old fashioned way vs a team that always felt like it underachieved during it’s magic window. But we’ll get Astros vs Dodgers because 2020

Nobody wants the Astros, but that's also the exact scenario we talked about before this season... a team who finished the season with a losing record in the World Series.

Braves 2-0 lead in series but I still think Dodgers go to WS.

That error by the Dodger 1st baseman on a routine 2 out 6-3 grounder resulted another run scored.

Been a Braves fan my whole life, if they win the World Series the same year the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, my childhood sports fandom dreams will officially be accomplished.

Of course it comes in the worst year in modern human history, but I’ll take it.

Lived in Atlanta since 1992 - I was in Buckhead the night they won it all vs. Cleveland - this town went mad! So much fun, I never looked back. The Braves are my #1 MLB team. However; I was never able to get into the Falcons at all. Even when they lost in that SB a few yrs back. Just a boring team and always have been IMO.

I’m sure they had the contact play on. I don’t like that play anyway, but it’s pretty common. Riley certainly ****ed up running to 3rd. But all Markakis had to do was hit a fly ball. Or shit, just strikeout at that point. He hit a grounder that would’ve been a DP anyway prior to the wild pitch and then his dumb ass teammate made it a DP anyhow.

Contact play shouldn't be on there with 0 outs. If it was, that's a dumbass decision.

There’s zero reason to go on contact to the 3B with no outs and runners on second and third. Yes, it would’ve been best if Markakis hit a fly ball. But if Swanson stays put they still can score on a fly or still have a contact play to SS with one out.

I’m certainly not defending Swanson. Either he or the Braves coaching staff ****ed up there. But let’s not act like that was a clutch AB by Markakis.
