I watched him catch a td up here lined up as a wr when they were playing in the Kingdome.

Back when I got to watch them once a year (LIVE). He was a kick ass returner as well.

This is an interesting question because I'm in major flux right now. At any point in the past I would have been able to name a player, but right now, if we go to the Super Bowl, my interest in past teams would decline to nil for the new Chiefs era. I'm not that interested in hearing about past teams that fell short. I'm laser focused on the current team. And in that case, I'd follow the rules and pick Dustin Colquitt. (Haha - sorry, Dustin. You're awesome.)

Once we move into the offseason, my interest might increase again. I might go with Art Still, who seems like a cool guy who would have great stories. Either him or Deron Cherry or Bobby Bell. Len Dawson would be awesome, but I feel like I've already heard a lot of his stories.

Hammock Parties 01-14-2020 08:13 PM

Tim Grunhard.

I'd grill him about the Marty era.

He saw it all.

Hammock Parties 01-14-2020 08:15 PM

If I had to watch a game with anyone though it would be Clark and Tavia.

They are tremendously nice, funny and full of stories they will share with people who said horrible things about their franchise.

Beat me to it. With the Chiefs and the Huskers connection, easy choice for me! I have his jersey. When he was inducted into the HOF, they had a fan reception up here in Omaha so I got to meet him. He was impressed with the jersey...

I was kinda sorta implying this might be Q and there might already be this same thread posted...but, alas, STFU.

This is a fun question actually. On the one hand, we're playing a team that runs it between the tackles 50 times a game with a bruising RB so the first thing that comes to mind is Buck Buchanan or Willie Lanier. Derrick Johnson would be good. You sure as hell couldn't go wrong taking Derrick Thomas...

Then again, having a RB like Jamaal Charles makes this offense unstoppable.

I’d try to sneak Vermeil in. I’d probably rather roll with Vermeil than a player.
