I've felt bad for all the Quebecois fans who've come to Arrowhead every week with their mans out of commission.
|
How sad is it that the second part made me way happier than the first. Also, does this bode well for Berry playing the rest of the way?
|
Awwwwww....
That's too bad. |
And they all said
“Hallelujah” |

Parker wasn't playing anything anyway but that kind of sucks for him.
|
Nice. I have to feel bad for Parker, though. Sucks to be on the team this long and not get a chance to be around for the AFCCG and Super Bowl. Think they'll throw him a bone and let him hang out on the sideline?
|
That kinda sucks for Ron. He's obviously not a good player anymore, but he gave us a few good seasons and he seemed to really love being a Chief.
|
Has Parker signed with New England yet?
|
Great move both ways...

I knew something was up when Parker wasn’t in the starting line up.

I'm sure they'll give him a ring if they win it all. They'll probably give Alex a ring too.

I almost feel bad for the dude. He gave us some good years. He was pretty good until he wasn't. Seeing him put in for mop up duty against Indy last week was sad.
At the same time, I'm convinced his issues were effort based. Guy clearly just no longer wanted to get his hands dirty. |
Parker was not going to play in any remaining game anyway. He’ll get a ring if(when?)the Chiefs win one. Look, there’s never a good time to lose your job. I garuntee you there are many more people today who will lose their job that your sympathy should be saved for.
The last sentence was sponsored by Gillette. |
Goodbye Rappin' Ronnie Parker, a.k.a. Cheap Seats.
|
Great news! Can’t decide which move makes me happier.

Besides, the damn equipment manager will get a ring so yes, Ron Parker will as well. Hell, I'm betting Josh Shaw gets one. |
And for all those feeling bad for Parker - were it not for the Chiefs he wouldn’t have been on a roster this year.
|
Cut Jeff Allen on Friday and bring Ron Parker back. Maybe the humiliation and embarrassment of being cut the week of the biggest game in modern Chiefs history will motivate him enough to actually give a shit on the field.
|
Best wishes to Parker. Addition by subtraction for the Chiefs, but I hope he catches on somewhere soon. Welcome back LDT.

I was a pretty vocal Parker defender for a long time, but his lack of energy and unwillingness to get in there and disrupt a play was maddening. If he didn't have a clear shot at the ballcarrier, he wasn't going to go down there and try to engage a blocker quickly enough to free up someone else to make the hit. Instead he'd hang back, let the OL get to the second level and come to him while they fanned out and found guys to hit. He was a MASSIVE liability in run-support because he simply wouldn't get up there and play team defense. They needed him doing things to occupy guys and allow other people to do their jobs and he just wouldn't do those things. When the heart just doesn't seem to be there anymore, I'm pretty hard-pressed to find a lot of sympathy for him. |

Maybe...

...but maybe if he would have tried a little harder on tackling, this wouldn't have happened |
Ron,

Thats some cold shit.

There has to be something that we don't know about Parker, right? I mean, with Berry being iffy, and him still being the one cut doesn't make sense. Don't get me wrong, his play has been bad. I won't miss him being around to blow assignments. But there are other guys who are inactive every week that could have been cut first. There is an OL Jimmy Murray. No idea who he is. I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't have been missed. But whatever.

|
Suppose we think LDT is near 100% and is too good not to have in there. Who sits?

Looks like Berry will try to play, then.
|
Goodnight, sweet prince.
|
****ing good. He’ll get his ring. Just stay off the ****ing field.

I think this means Berry is playing. We play a shit load of coverages with 3 safeties and only having 3 available doesn’t make sense.
|
Does LDT automatically get inserted back into the starting line up?
Wylie and the offensive line have been playing well, and LDT has been out of game action for three months now. |
Damn that is sad. One of my good friends played college ball with Parker and they’re still close. I do my best not to talk bad about him since they’re friends.

For everybody that feels bad about Parker (including me) think about it this way as well...
Parker was actually cut before the season. If Sorenson or Berry had been healthy, he would have never been here in the first place. So while it's unfortunate he won't be here for the championship, it's fortunate he even got close to it. |
Meh. If he didn't suck at his job, he'd still have one.

Erving was back in at LG this past week.
He's the LG going forward and Allen is kinda meh. |
Has Wylie ever played LG before?

I can see why people might feel a little bad for Parker, but I'll wager he can ice that wound by cashing the checks he stole for an extra year than he should have been in the league.
|
so if the chiefs win the super bowl does ronnie get a ring?

The Canadian Doc would have been All Pro this year had he not broke his leg.
For our Canadian Friends: Le Doc aurait été tous les Pro cette année s'il n'avait pas cassé sa jambe. Hey, this is fun! How about: Tom Brady is a pervert who like to tongue kiss his eleven year old son. Tom Brady est un pervers qui aiment la langue embrasser son fils de 11 ans. Or: The Hoodie is a big cheating piece of crap who sniffs Robert Kraft's Rectal Cavity! La capuche est un gros morceau de tricherie crap qui inhale Robert Kraft's cavité rectale! |

Wyllie has played well. I'd consider him playing the other guard spot.

Sucks for Parker, dude probably thought he’d get a ring. (Guess he still could but not actually be there)
|
At least Parker could catch a softly thrown ball that hit him right in the hands. I think we're down to Sorenson on that skill now.

Exactly !! You don't screw with cohesion and chemistry. "You dance with the lady that brung ya".:thumb: Besides Wylie has a nastiness that LDT has never had nor will have. LDT is soooo overrated IMHO. Reiter is another nasty o-lineman I really like. Wylie and Reiter are those "no name" blue collar lunch pale guys you just don't screw with because they will hurt you. Quite frankly they are the kind of guys Bellichek would covet, "no names" that are talented and produce. Not trying to personally diss on LDT here it is just a fact. |
