Peters Suspended
One game. Per Andy.
Summary from Andy (paraphrase) : Best for organization. Talked to Peters. Difficult to do as I like Peters. |

I'm shocked.
not even sarcasm....I genuinely shocked that Fat Andy actually decided to do something. |
Just further cementing the loss, which I'm fine with. Time to flush this season.
|
Oakland will score 50.
|
Good..believe it or not this might actually help our secondary. It has to be hard being the 2nd corner on this team knowing you are the only one that is going to be targeted
|
Why don't we suspend Sorensen who's continual 15 yrd. penalties actually have an effect on the game....
|
Good
|
But that passion!
|
Conspiracy theory time. ROFL
Doesn't matter. We're going to ****ing lose anyways. |
we're screwed...who's gonna try to rip the ball out of a ball carrier's grasp while the ball carrier gains another 15 yds now?
|
What choice did he have at this point? The wheels are flying off this season and while I don't suspect this will matter at all, something had to be done.
I don't figure this will change our defensive performance much anyway. We aren't getting any push and no matter how well Peters plays, he can't cover the whole field. And frankly, he wasn't playing that well to begin with. We were gonna give up 30+ either way; this changes very little. |

Clark at work behind the scenes?

Probably should have suspended him for the Denver game.
|
How about he suspends Bob Sutton?
|
This was from December 5th. Not sure if this was before or after the suspension. Could be about something completely different.

Just don't throw a flag into the stands.... |
Typical Chiefs: tanking the season they don't have a first round draft pick.
|
At this point - who gives a shit?

Shop his sorry ass in the off season.

had to be done, and i'm glad they did it this week.
not playing vs raiders will hurt him most, hopefully wakes him up a bit. |
Some of you guys need to step up off Dirty Dan's nuts.

If Reid really wanted to take back control of the team, he should have suspended him for the rest of the season.
|
I bet Peters is just fine with being suspended. Peters quit on the team several games ago and would rather just go play with Lynch. Chiefs need to trade him, he's gone at first chance. Peters doesn't give a shit about the Chiefs and he thinks he's better than Kansas City.

Marcus reminds me of Terrell Owens; great talent, cancerous player.

He won't even practice.
Oh no. |
Not to say I'm disagreeing with the idea of suspending the dude, but I don't think it's really going to matter. I don't think Reid commands the sort of respect in the lockerroom right now that making an example out of one player will really pay dividends with on-field play.

Maybe Peters can go hang out with Kapernick this week and they can help the black community with donations! Or maybe not sicne the fact Kapernick's not getting paid and Peter's just lost some big bucks. ROFL
|
And against his favorite team the Raiders. Thats got to sting.

Reid has clearly lost the team, you butt****ing moron. Suspending Peters should be just the beginning. |
he's bound to do something stupid on his off time.
like posting a picture/selfie of him wearing Raiders gear or something stupid. |

I said at the time that if he's behaving that way in victories (I believe it was over Houston) then all hell is going to break loose if/when they start losing. I never figured it would be this bad, but there was no question that Peters wouldn't respond well to it. I don't think he got suspended for the flag toss - it was something else. He's having discipline issues in practice or something. The flag toss meant absolutely nothing in the grand scheme and Kelce doing essentially the same thing never got him punished. This is about more than the penalty. It never should've gotten this far with him. They gave him too much rope and here we are; in freefall with our best corner suspended for the biggest game of the year. Aces. |
Nice to finally see someone in this organization sack up and hold someone accountable for their actions. Have to think this might have come from the top.
|
LMAO
Raiders are going to cut our dicks off and shove them down our throats. |

We're going to get a glimpse of the Peters-less secondary that everybody's been clamoring for and I'm sure it's going to be great

Jamie Collins treatment might put a lot of perspective in Peters life. Playing for the Browns would be a major wake up call.

I'm sure he'll be sitting in the stands somewhere with his Raiders gear on....
|
One less Oakland player on the field Sunday ?

He either needs to regain control of this team and locker room or he won't last into 2018, regardless of their record. |

Odds that he's on the team next year? I can't imagine they are very high.

And probably frustrated over being surrounded and coached by idiots. |

Reid's complacency led to the Chiefs downfall this season. |

Oh and when he totally quit on a play to throw his hands up and whine and pout... I love Kelce but to act like he's any different is ridiculous... |
