I had dinner at a Japanese restaurant, which put me in a mood for plum wine. But the bottle is gone and I'm slightly buzzed and have a bit a stomach ache now, so I've switched over to iced tea.

I'm a night owl myself, naturally; I have to work to get my azz in bed by 1 or 2 am. I can relate. You simply HAVE to MAKE yourself go to bed by midnight or 1 most nights; but even on the late nights, NLT 3 am or so. |

But it sounds like it will get solived tonight. its all good. |

Before the evening was over, we were in the front yard... and the last thing I remember was him sayin'... "Dude, don't lay on your back... you don't wanna go out like Bon Scott." |

That was my first night in college. After that I discovered Pine street, and lasted one whole year. Most nights ended with breakfast in the cafeteria. It was a waste... I was a smart kid, too. Ahhh, regrets.... |

At work overnight, so big bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper. When I get home at 8 a.m., it'll be my night and the drink will be Rosemont Estates Shiraz. Or, I have a nice Chateau St. Michelle (from Washington) Cabernet... haven't quite decided yet. Suggestions? Or, screw it all, and hit the Bacardi 151.
|
Quote:
I havent tried the one from Washington but you cant really go wrong with Rosemont Shiraz. :thumb: |
The shiraz is incredible. If you like wine, give the Chateau St. Michelle a try -- they've won all kinds of awards. The mother-in-law put me on to them a couple of years ago, and there's ALWAYS something from that vineyard in my wine fridge. Yeah, wine in the morning since it's my night time. The wife's at work, I'll have a few drinks, play a little Madden, then head to bed.

The 2000 Cab won best U.S. wine at one of the big wine shows, if I remember correctly.
I've also really been on a port kick. And a guy down at The Connesieur put me onto Medieras... good stuff. |

My wife doesn't drive - she's never had a license. Therefore, anytime we go out, I'm driving and have to stay sober. Sure I've been buzzed a few times, but I'm talking falling down, sloppy Rausch drunk (sorry Brad :D ). Prior to my neighbor's party a earlier this year, that hadn't happened since New Year's Eve of 1996. |
Last night - Rogue 'Dead Guy Ale', Old Forester 100.
Tonite - Foster's Bitter, Jim Beam Black label. |
Caffiene free diet Coke. No carbs, no calories, no sugar, no taste.
|
Hmmm? Either a fat steak and some White Russians, or Mexican and some brews. Still haven't decided.
|
I think I'll stick to iced tea tonight....

That sounds good, too bad I don't have the stuff needed to make one. I'll probably go rum tonight, but I haven't decided. |

Nooooooo. Multiple Long Island iced teas is bad, bad juju (it is for me anyway). |
Long Island Iced Teas bring back bad memories of an ex-wife. Think I'll stick w/ Crown & Diets...
|
I'm actually sipping Myers dark rum. This stuff is just tasty.
