A fact for you misguided people who think New England has a good team.

New England's lifetime franchise record is 323-338-9.

Kansas City's lifetime franchise record is 352-305-12.

Those bums don't stand a chance.

cheeeefs 11-22-2004 11:58 AM

BigRedChief 11-22-2004 12:03 PM

And they can't BBQ worth a crap. Clam Chowder and football? Give me a break. We should get 7 free points jusr because of that.

ROYC75 11-22-2004 12:03 PM

Thatta boy Kev, I knew you had it in ya to come up with the facts !

ptlyon 11-22-2004 12:03 PM

Hoover 11-22-2004 12:11 PM

Plus I here MNF is doing a spoof with Tony G and Barney.

I guess Barney is in the Chiefs Locker room in a towel, and wants Tony G to stay and play with him.

Not to rain on your parade RM, but your stats also mean that the law of averages favor The Patriots. :(

No, no, no. Over a 45-year period, the Chiefs have shown themselves to be a superior team. There's no reason to assume that that's going to change now.

Eleazar 11-22-2004 12:24 PM

Do they really eat clam chowder at the tailgates?

Maybe we will hold a couple of them down and make them eat ribs just as a public service!

cadmonkey 11-22-2004 12:28 PM

Below .500, man we suck!

Well I hope it is seeing how I'm an engineer. and the pats record being 323-338-9 would put them under .500. Less wins then losses means you are below .500. Is reading your strong point? :)

Ya, I usually do Kilbassa, Steak tips, SoCo Manhattans, and other normal sh*t. How would you even cook Chowdah in a parking lot?

Allright, I was wondering. I just talked to someone not too long ago who was from South Carolina and said she didn't even usually have a grill at the tailgates down there, they ate fried chicken most of the time that they had made the night before. A tailgate with no BBQ? :spock:

I rarely see seafood in the lots of Gillette Stadium. For me, it's a quality Delmonico steak, a couple of sirloin burgers and a pot of chili. Oh yeah, and a case of Sam Adams Octoberfest. :thumb:

I actually saw two people tailgate in Foxboro with a table, tablecloth, candles, full dinner plates and serving pieces eating a lobster dinner. As I was drinking my beer and eating my hamburger I was feeling rather underpriviledged. Most people in Foxboro grill. BBQ is not a New England favorite, but I see it quite a bit at the games.

Actually 'medium-rare' is more like it - that way more of the critters crawling around on the meat are killed off..

Kind of like what we're going to do to your Chiefs tonight. We'll cook you just enough to keep you out of the game, but not so much that you'll lose all hope for the rest of the season.

No offense, of course. ;)

Come on, you can't cook all the flavor out of a piece of meat. You want a hamburger or a hockey puck? :p

What'chu talking about Willis? Medium-Rare is perfect if done right, still bloody but not microbe infested.

Hell, I'd eat a strip steak raw if I thought I'd not get sick afterwards.

Yeah, I'll order a steak rare if I'm at a place that I trust to cook it correctly and not give me food poisoning, but I'm not going to Ma and Pa Kettle's greasy spoon and asking for a burger cooked rare.

When the steak is still "mooing" at me from the plate I get a little nervous.

"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Please put this back on for a couple of seconds.

BigRedChief 11-22-2004 01:46 PM

We ain't telling you sh*t. We know tailgating is the end all be all in KC. There was a question of if we eat Chowdah when we tailgate. Don't get your panties in a bunch :p

Just having a little fun. No worries mate. We as Chief fans are confident that noone does tailgating better than us. shoot we may not have invented it but we certaintly perfected it in the NFL. Shoot your team owner owns the Pats after attending a Chiefs game and seeing the tailgating and soaking up the atmosphere.

No matter how much our team sucks there will be no one than can touch our BBQ or tailgate better.

But I would promise to eat Clam Chowder before every game for the rest of my life if we could win 2 out of the next 3 Super Bowls. :thumb:
