Limo On The Way To Ge Trotter
According to Jack Harry's camerman at Arrowhead a limo with DV left to go get Trotter. That was about an hour ago but hadn't seen anything on here about it. Take it for what it's worth.

Please don't take this offensively...but this play-by-play obsession we have with free agents has gotten hilarious.
I heard Trotter asked the limo to drive thru at McD's and he ordered fish sandwhich and a large Coke...... what do you think that means???? :hmmm: |

There is no way Trotter would order a fish sandwich. He would be all over the McRib value meal adding another McRib for $1. |
I heard Trotter made Vermeil pick up the Mickey D's tab.
|
Does anyone know what color the interior of the limo is?
|
When I first read this I thought it said "Lima"
|
A limo?
Well, now that's original. |

Hell, call DV up and let him know that all of these FA's can come over to my place. I'll hook 'em up with some steaks, ribs, oh what the hell - I'll throw in the wife too. I'll get 'em signed.

It don't matter if DV is in the limo near as much as it does if Carol(sp?) is. She's the one who makes it all happen :) Go Carol! Go Carol.......(no disrespect inteneded toward Mrs. V., just funnin)

I hope the radio stations have been alerted to not play "Jeremiah was a Bullfrog" during his visit.

Ah ha!!
I know what's going on. He's going to take Rolle and Trotter out to dinner then he will have Carl or Denny sign them both tonight! I knew it! He's only bringing in Law to get some advice on what wheelchairs are the best you can buy, not only for your money, but for your comfort as well. |

I have no idea if this has been said, but Harry said that Trotter has cancelled his other meetings with other teams...

Channel 41 with Jack Harry was the only newscast to say anything about the Chiefs.
|
So we haven't signed anyone yet?

Mortensen said on SportsCenter that it seems the Eagles were too wary to re-sign Trotter to a big deal because of his knees (what caused everybody to pass on him last offseason).... he didn't say a deal was imminent but made it pretty clear we are the front runner. Also said we had Rolle in and were gonna look at Ty Law tomorrow....

Hey Bad Guy, I saw the latest Sports Center and Mort kind of back-peddled from his earlier statement. Earlier he made it sound it was all but done, I noticed we both had an earlier thread on it, so I wanted to get your take on his latest comments compared to earlier. I still think we have a good shot at Trotter, I just think Mort jumped the gun. |

I would say it's a safe bet that since Carl was out of town, Denny only worked the #'s and if Trotter wants to be in KC, an announcement will come tomorrow if Carl is in town.

His agent likely leaked that info for one of 2 reasons. 1) To get the news out there to the Eagles so they increase their offer 2) Because Trotter really wants to be a Chief I guess we will find out tomorrow. |
