I'd take Jackson, but I honestly think we could trade down to about 25 and still get him.

I like the pick, but I think we can trade down to get him, and get a 2nd rounder in return.

We just gotta hope the match materializes.

On draft day, maybe the best scenario would be for one of the QB's to drop to 15. Since we own half of Green Bays draft anyway, maybe a deal with GB to move down to 24 and their 51st, and give them back a later draft pick of theirs.

51 for Surtain
24 for Jackson
46 for Blackstock.

I've seen a couple of draft sites that have Pac Man falling because he's not as fast as some would like to see for a man his size.

I'm still hoping that a receiver is sitting there that Philly would like to get to pair with TO, giving us the #31 and #35 pick.

And Sidewinder, I agree with you- I wouldn't mind having Jackson at all, it's just that I too think he can be had by dropping down as well.

But this draft doesn't have Smith even going in the 1st round, so who knows. :shrug:

I love your picks coogs, IF we must give up that 2nd for Surtain. Otherwise stay at 15, take Rogers, who I do think will be there, then Blackstock.

That and an after the draft signing of simmons coupled w/ the surtain trade would make a perfect offseason imo.

If we don't have to give up the 2nd, great. Still make the trade, and we have another 2nd rounder to use.

This mock would provide the perfect opportunity to trade up with Detroit to take Johnson. They have young LB's in which they have invested some high picks and would probably rather fill some more pressing needs.

Jackson: I'd have to say my teammate Braylon Edwards, who I went up against in practice.

Jackson: I'd have Michael Jordan and Deion Sanders. I'd have to ask Sanders how he honed his skills and became so good.

Jackson: Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. They've got some crazy fans. I'd like to play there.

Jackson: It's not a question, but have them explain the Pythagorean Theorem.

I like Jackson as a prospect but I don't think the 15th pick is the place to pick him. I like Rogers at 15.

If we do indeed trade down Marlin would be a good pick.
