Nothing. I'm coming up on 8 yrs. of alcohol free blood system on the 25th. Never felt better.

6 hours east; yeah, the closing is big news in the state though....1% of the state's entire work force....ouch. It's a much bigger deal out in Rapid City though....Cntrygal works there.

No, no....I haven't stopped drinking; just backed off starting threads...I've got my priorities right, heh.

Only had a few glasses of vino tonight.

Last night a buddy of mine and I got into my jug of moonshine. At one point he decided it would be a good idea to throw the lid away so we had to finish it. As my wife and I were going to bed, his wife was waiting in the car for him while he finished up puking in my front yard. Good times.

Yeah, I assumed it was gonna be just devistating on the local economy. I glad to hear that it won't have on an effect on you, personally. I forget how close Cntrygal is to retirement (I think she was 3or 4 years away) and if she'll have to transfer to another base to reach 20 years...

Bulleit bourbon

The best home made stuff I've had was from a guy in Pennsylvania. He's a friend that builds log cabins with my brother. He makes his stuff from plums. It's like 100 proof brandy. He actually casks and ages some of it, which makes it like 100 proof cognac. It's awesome stuff.

This shit came from a guy who owns a lumber yard in a dry county in Arkansas. On occasion, he has customers that pay him with shine. I ended up with some of his leftovers. It wasn't bad, but it was pretty tasteless.

I can tell the difference. Hell, I haven't gotten in a fight with you for damn near 24 hours. Even then I saw a couple of things about you I liked. I guess it's true that if you look hard enough you can find some good in anyone. I've decided you are a pretty good guy who has tried too hard to be liked in the past.

What's everbuddy's favorite drinking song? Right now the song 'Tequila Talking' by Lone Star is mine. I grew up(I use the term "grew up" loosely.) on rock-n-roll but as I've matured I've found country music is so much better to drink to. If I can't get drunk and yodel with it then what fun is that. Besides when I start singing along most folks round here just leave me the fug alone. It's like a secret weapon.

Heh. You never know, I guess. Seriously, though...perhaps it's come off as "you are tryin' to hard"....but I'm just the kind of guys who says whatever comes to his mind, and on-line I guess I should be a little more restrained.

As a teacher though, it really helps to view it as "900 Shows" a year--which requires an actor's mindset....hence the drama queen persona I have at times I guess. I need to share a couple or brews with you, and we need to bury the hatchet if you ever make it to a function...despite our differences, I can share a brew with just about anyone.

I wasn't a whiskey drinker till I started dating my wife. She always drinks Jack&Coke(her name is Jackie) so I started ordering one for each of us and for a few years I drank Jack&Cokes but I started getting heartburn. When I started drinking my Jack straight the heartburn went away. If I'm gonna have a sodapop drink these days it's a V.O.&7 and that ain't very often. If it ain't good enough to drink straight I avoid it unless it's sompin like a apple martini.
