One of the best times I have ever had!
 

I can not even do it justice, we left at 2:30 this morning. Charter fishing trip with a customer on Lake Michigan. Smallest fish was a lake trout at 10 lbs. even. I am ready to do it again tomorrow if I could afford it!

Two guesses which one is me, and the first one does not count. Each one of us brought home about 25lbs of filets, can not wait to smoke some Salmon!

How do you roll something like that?

Thanks man, I was about the only one drinking. The guy on my right was actually green most of the day since the water was so rough. I lost my first two but finished strong. We are all better friends now, and our business relationship looks bright for the future. :D

I laughed so hard my wife came in and did the same when I told her what you said. That was 80 lbs. and a hell of a long time ago. Was not into killing, I was in Search and Rescue and ended up teaching it. ROFL

I really can't decide which is better...catching the fish or eating them..

They both be good! Hell of an experience, the Captain was awesome putting us on the fish. Other boats were calling him and reporting in, not doing near as well. We boated exactly half the fish that he got on for us, and of course, the two biggest ones got away to make the story complete. :p

I decided to do this again, only this time I am taking my two grandsons. It should be a time they will never forget, they are 14 and 9.

you should see the picture my neighbor has of a northern that he caught. It's got to weigh 25 or 30 pounds.

I bet that was a heck of a fight, where did he catch it?

Yeah, it is a rip. I just booked it for the 19th, and he is giving me a 6 hour trip for the 5 hour price. We have to be there at 5, ready to go.:D
