SI What a joke!!!!!!!!
Might make it to the hof STFU
Walter Jones, Alan Faneca, Jonathan Ogden, Willie Roaf, Will Shields -- Multiple all-star choices along the offensive line. Jones is the smoothest, as a pass blocker. Which one (or ones) get anointed will depend on the mood of the selectors, plus who these candidates are up against. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...of.fame/1.html |
Salisbury said Will Shields was a shoe-in for first ballot HOF.
|
That is terrible story. Completely pointless..
|
Peyton Manning.....This era's Dan Marino...Ill even go on record right now and say he will never win a ring like Marino as well. Like he cares...........hahaha
|
Anyone else notice Tony G MISSING from even the long shot list?
WTF? --Kyle |

If you don't like Manning, fine. But if you believe he doesn't play to win, then you are a dumbass. |

Although I am do not think Priest is a shoe in, but if he is going to mention Tomlinson and Portis, Holmes better damn well be in the discussion.

But I think Priest needs to stay healthy, have another couple of great seasons, and possibly a SB appearence to get any HOF consideration. |

Dr. Z should be nominated for the sportswriters Hall of Shame...his buddy Peter King too!

He also has almost twice as many receptions, for more than twice the yardage. A couple more good seasons for Priest could put him over 10,000 yards and 100 TDs. Those would be HOF numbers. Davis stats: http://www.pro-football-reference.co...s/DaviTe00.htm Priest's: http://www.pro-football-reference.co...s/HolmPr00.htm |

I predict Priest will get to 100 TD's this year. As well as hit the 9000 yard mark. So Priest could realistically make 10,000 yards and 120 TD's within the next 2 seasons. Hopefully he will get another Super Bowl this year, one in which he is a big contributor.
|
Tom Brady - barring injury, of course
He could retire today and still make the HOF I don't see Hines Ward making it as a shoe in. Willie Roaf and Will Shields are probably going to make it in. 9 pro bowls a piece...come on Priest, I bet he'll get in, he broke the TD record and has 87 tallied up already. Tony Gonzalez is going to make it if you ask me. Culpepper or Moss are not YET HOF, maybe after 5-8 more seasons....we'll see Deion Sanders isn't even on the list |
TG not being on there is laughable! Antonio Gates, based on 1.3 seasons of great play, is a "possible," and Jeremy Shocky is a long shot, but the most dominant TE of his time,(and when it's all said and done, of all time) let alone dominant offensive presence in general is left off the list altogether? Poppycock.
