Not unless something has changed in the last 3 years.

ROYC75 09-12-2005 05:02 PM

why did the changed the station that held the DV Show, shit !!!!!!!

ROYC75 09-12-2005 05:04 PM

We need updates on what they say, shit, gosh dang freakin 610 ....

Nzoner 09-12-2005 05:09 PM

Coach says he thinks Surtain will be fine for the Raider game.

Chiefs Pantalones 09-12-2005 05:09 PM

DV said Surtain will play.

Sims MRI will be in by 8pm tonight, then they'll know how long he'll be out.

Donger 09-12-2005 05:10 PM

And Roaf?

beer bacon 09-12-2005 05:10 PM

Regarding Sims. DV says they are still looking at the final MRIs, and should have an estimation on how long he will be out by 8:00 PM Central tonight.

On Surtain. DV thinks he will play next Sunday. After he got inside he was feeling pretty good, but with concussions you want to observe the person for a bit to make sure he is actually ok.

ROYC75 09-12-2005 05:10 PM

Any reports on Richardson and Roaf ?

I haven't heard anything but my radio reception sucks in this room so hopefully the others can update this better than I.

ROFL

I hear severe lisps can be painful.

Bootlegged 09-12-2005 05:14 PM

Surtain playing is huge. Good to hear.

The loss of Roaf is gonna really sting.

I think we still beat Oakland with or without Sims....but, hope his is nuthin' serious.

leviw 09-12-2005 05:15 PM

I'm getting the feeling that DV is underwhelmed by Grunhard's intelligence.

Nzoner 09-12-2005 05:16 PM

Should see Kris Wilson more involved in the gameplan next week

The first caller being completely wasted might have had something to do with DV being underwhelmed.

I'm going to keep it simple with this post that I'm posting...

Grunhard is not a smart man.

Caller: "I think the Chiefs will win four games this year."
DV: "I hope you're right. I hope we win more than four games this year."
Caller: "Actually, I think you'll win more than four games. I think you'll win 16 games this year!"
DV: "Whatever you're on, I want some of it."

No shit that guy was hitting the sauce early today.

As for Grunhard, his first 10 minutes has been better than all of Gretz's years combined.

beer bacon 09-12-2005 05:19 PM

Why can't one of these stupid bastards ask about Roaf or T-Rich?

Time for commercials. They are going to talk about injuries more when they get back.

Chiefs Pantalones 09-12-2005 05:22 PM

When they get back from commercial, they'll talk about the Raiders and injuries...

Nzoner 09-12-2005 05:22 PM

Going to break Grunny said more injury talk when they return

Chiefs Pantalones 09-12-2005 05:23 PM

I don't know who is smarter...

The callers or Grunhard?

But I do agree that Grunhard is better than Gretz, but not the brightest guy...

chief99 09-12-2005 05:26 PM

Just call the show and ask the screener to mention that . You shouldn't need to go on the air .

Chiefs Pantalones 09-12-2005 05:31 PM

Raiders will definitely test them deep, Jets did not.

(probably because of Chad's weenie arm)

Or that he was either fumbling the snap or getting hit a second or two after he received the snap.

leviw 09-12-2005 05:34 PM

I love when guys claim they are "first-time callers," especially when it's the first time the show has ever aired. :shake:

Bootlegged 09-12-2005 05:34 PM

why don't one of you urinal cakes call in and ASK???

Chiefs Pantalones 09-12-2005 05:34 PM

ROFL

On Gun on the sidelines...
DV said after the Minnesota game they got a letter from the league office stating what you can and can't say to the officials.

ROFL

Gunther da man!

beer bacon 09-12-2005 05:38 PM

Oh **** you Grunhard. How could you go through a 30 minute interview and not have an answer about Richardson or Roaf.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny myself. It's nice to know that the fans have a voice on the sidelines. ;)

leviw 09-12-2005 05:39 PM

Umm, no news is good news???

ROYC75 09-12-2005 05:39 PM

I thought Injury news was comin up ?

I thought we was goin to hear somethin on Richardson and Roaf.

petegz28 09-12-2005 05:40 PM

Well On Metro Sprots Talk they didn't say what was wrong with Sims but Brad Porter said they heard he will be out for an extended period.

Told you.

Grunhard is not a smart man.

tomahawk kid 09-12-2005 05:48 PM

That was freaking bad.

Whoever was screening callers needs to be fired. Letting the first guy on the air was horrible. He was obviously hammered. 610 is such a freaking slapped together, unprofessional station.

I wonder if Grunhard forgot to ask about T-Rich and Willie or if he was told not to go there. I'm betting the former.......In any event, we got no information on those 2 players.

Grunny was one of my favorite all time Chiefs players, but the guy can't put together a coherent thought to save his life. He should be arrested for stealing a paycheck from Intercom every week.

I know DV didn't want his calls screened when he was doing the show on KCFX. Probably still the case.

Rain Man 09-12-2005 05:54 PM

Off topic, but wasn't Vermeil the guy who basically made Grunhard retire? I wonder how well they get along.

Nzoner 09-12-2005 05:57 PM

Do these dipshits even listen to their own shows?

Now they got a live sports show on from Minsky's and all they can talk about is what if Surtain doesn't play.I could've swore I just heard DV not 30 minutes ago say Surtain should be fine.

DUMBASSES!!!

CoMoChief 09-12-2005 05:57 PM

Are you guys f'n seirous ??? No news about Roaf's injury or TRich or Surtain??? I'm in Columbia, MO at school and so I can't get any of these shows on the radio. I thought Dick Vermeil wasn't doing his show this season. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought I heard that somewhere.

Hamblin's a fuck stick. He was also reporting that Trent Green had a "blot clot" and the situation was "serious" last week.

Hopefully they're getting their info from Nick Athan or PFT.

I blame Nick Athan.

Chiefs Pantalones 09-12-2005 06:34 PM

DV also said that he likes the usage of the 3-4. All it does is gets them more athletic; they are more athletic with the 3-4 D. Gun likes it and has used it before (97).
