Teams that are not consistent playoff contenders do not get much national media love. As a Patriots fan, whose team was completely ignored for most of the first 40 years of the team's existence, I'm more than well aware of this.

Win a SB or two, or go to the playoffs every year for 4 in a row or whatever, and watch the love flow your way.

Ok Im thinking that i was misunderstood, and im sure its partly my fault... the only point i was trying to make is that alot of things regarding this whole hurricane/nfl situation would be different if we had won 3 of the last SB. Im sure we would have had an answer yesterday and Im sure that the game would have been nationally Televised.. Thats all.. and then after seeing Ol' Tom boy and all of the commericals for the Patriots I have some built up animosity toward them Sorry

79,000 people come to the game. Lamar and Carl get rich. They feel no need to change anything. The team doesn't make the playoffs. Then they wonder why they don't get attention. :hmmm:
