Do I look taller?

Man, today is the first day in months that I haven't been under a tight deadline pressure. My company for some reason had a run the last three months where we did more business in three months than we did all last year, and I've been working my tail off.

I think I'll go out to lunch today. And then maybe see if there's a massage opening at the health club tonight. Maybe I'll go home early enough to see if the Drew Carey reruns are still on at six.

Ahhhhh, life is good.

While you're on a roll, ask your S.O. for a blumpkin.

Robo-Chachi 07-24-2006 10:30 AM

You'll only get the blumpkin if there was a big bonus achieved for all that work.

Why not reward yourself with some chicken noodle soup?

StcChief 07-24-2006 10:34 AM

Taller - Got those 70s platform heels on again.

58-4ever 07-24-2006 10:35 AM

It must be tough when your diamond shoes are too tight and your wallet doesn't have enough space for all those 50s.

Amazing what a pair of orange pants can do for one's self-esteem.

I agree though, life is good!

greg63 07-24-2006 11:19 AM

I don't know; you won't quit dancing long enough to see if you've gotten taller or not. :D

Rain Man 07-24-2006 11:23 AM

I got my top hat,
I got my white coat,

I'm dancing around,
With my pet goat.

Guess a full work load is part evolution's natural selection now 'eh?

Welcome to the higher order of our species.
Glad too see you've lost your tail too.

:p

I kind of lament that we humans don't have prehensile tails. They seem quite handy.

I didn't realize posting on Chiefs Planet all day long was considered working your tail off. ROFL

Jenson71 07-24-2006 11:58 AM

You sound taller, Rain Man.

Sometimes I think you people don't appreciate my efforts.

Not sure how, but I am almost positive that this has something to do with Ty Law.

Rain Man was instrumental in working out a deal between Carl Peterson and Law's agents. He worked his tail off while Jason Whitlock merely wrote a column here and there. Thanks Rain Man.

If only Rain Man knew that my company is one of his clients, and that I don't believe in the concept of 'net 30 day terms.'

Nah. Denny Thum really handles all of the details. I just ... never mind.
