3 Men rape 11 year old girl
 

I am not that stupid to think that this doesn't happen in other places, but I have noticed that the number of attacks on Children has seemed to increase over the past 2 years especially, although I don't have the crime report for Central Florida or Jacksonville. Other than this article, there are 3 other child rape victim stories on the front page of the TV station's site I got this from. Bottom line, this is very disturbing.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are investigating what they consider an especially troubling rape case in which three men allegedly attacked an 11-year-old girl, according to a WJXT-TV report.

Investigators said the attackers forced their way into a Westside apartment just before dark on Monday. According to the incident report, they allegedly locked the victim's 7-year-old sister outside, then forced the victim into the bedroom, where they held both her arms down while she was screaming and yelling.

"This is something that no one should ever have to go through, particularly for an 11-year-old," Jacksonville Sheriff's Office spokesman Ken Jefferson said.


Detectives said the victim got free and ran to the kitchen and picked up a large knife before the men grabbed her again and returned her to the bed, where they tried to tie her arms to the bedposts, WJXT-TV reported.

Police said the two of the men took turns raping her. According to the report, the third man apparently had second thoughts about what he was doing and left the room, but later returned and also raped the girl.

"They attempted to shield her from screaming by holding a pillow over her face. They held both of her arms down while they continued this particular act," Jefferson said. "It's just a very traumatic thing for a young child to have to go through."

Investigators said two of the men were hiding in a closet of the apartment, but fled when the mother came home.

Detectives are talking to neighbors, trying to find witnesses and leads to find the attackers.

That why our justice system needs to bring back torture. These guys need beaten to close to death, and then medically healed (With no Pain meds) and beaten to the close to death and repeat for the rest of their life.

Horrible, but if it was a hot female teacher committing the rape, some here would be whining that they didn't have teachers like that.

When a society endorses letting little girls dress like women, the propensity for this kind of crime intensifies.

One could only hope they get at least the same sort of treatment in prison...

I think that's a little different......this situation compared to something like the Debra LaFave thing are totally different. Plus it affects males and females differently I know being a young male if I was 14-15 and a female teacher and I did that sort of thing I don't think it would have traumatised me at all.

Aside from that I found the starter post to be interesting. I do not have the statistics in front of me but I would be willing to bet crimes of this nature have gone down the last few years as a lot of crime has even though the perception is opposite because of the media attention payed to such acts.

I think the nature of our media outlets has made this kind of thing "seem" to happen more.

This used to be shocking but anymore it's just really sickening...

As the father of 3 daughters I'll tell you that if it were one of my kids the three would be better to turn themselves in rather me find them first.

I just want to know why an 11 year old and a 7 year old were left alone in the first place. Guarantee my kids were older than that before they stayed home alone and much older before they were expected to watch the younger siblings.

I hear the law around here is age 8. Not sure though...just what I hear. I know plenty that have left kids at age 8.

I wouldn't do that. But I feel 9,10 and 11 are fine if not too long. I wouldn't do it if it were an 11 year old watching a 7 year, but I would make a quick run to the store for milk or something like that. Definitely wouldn't do an all evening late night thing.

I did however have a 12 year old watch mine when she was a baby under on year. She was excellent, very mature and had experience with a younger baby brother.

It's horrible, parents let their little girls dress up like little sluts, i've been saying for a couple years now that that's a huge reason for the rise in child molestation here in America. They will. From what I've heard child molestors, rapists, and wife beaters get teh worst treatment in prisons by other inmates. The other inmates apparently assert their own punishment on these people, since all of these crimes are crimes of power assetion. I'm sure they'll get a little something asserted INTO them.

This child will never recover from this. The memory will haunt her until death. Those assholes have ruined her life and should be tortured and killed slowly.

You have to be GD heartless to rape anyone, but a child means you are nothing but an aninmal with no soul at all? How can a person do that?

I will never understand how people like that think. They must be just plain crazy. I hope they die screaming in pain.
