Hammock Parties 10-12-2006 09:10 PM

I am too tired! I'll catch this tomorrow night. :D

KcMizzou 10-12-2006 09:11 PM

This calls for big rep.

Halfcan 10-12-2006 09:18 PM

I was there-it was AWESOME!

Hammock Parties 10-12-2006 09:23 PM

Haha...the look on Kelly's face after that fumble was priceless.

He was our bitch that night.

Probably one of my favorite games out of the hundreds I have been to.

Halfcan 10-12-2006 09:25 PM

I found $100 bill on the ground waiting in the beer line. Needless to say-I drank most of it.

C-Mac 10-12-2006 09:26 PM

I just realized that the Astroturf was still in Arrowhead.

Hammock Parties 10-12-2006 09:27 PM

DeBerg has a nice fake.

bishop_74 10-12-2006 09:27 PM

How in the world did you find this?

Archie F. Swin 10-12-2006 09:28 PM

When I tried to watch the steelers game you advertised, IE kept closing when I entered the password

Any ideas?

Hammock Parties 10-12-2006 09:31 PM

Arrowhead at night is just beautiful. I can't wait to go to the Donks game this year.

I can only do one Sopcast at a time so the Steeler game is off for now but I will be replaying later.
Make sure any popup blocker is off and you have downloaded the latest Sopcast.

This has lagged to all hell. :(

I assume you're planning on torrenting this one later anyway, so I don't mind. Thanks again.

He set the standard.

Wow.... I didnt know Marty interviewed with San Diego before the Chiefs.

DJJasonp 10-12-2006 09:55 PM

I was at that game....to this day, still the loudest I've ever heard Arrowhead get!

A close 2nd was the raiders monday night game (same year?) where DeBerg threw a late TD and our defense made a huge stop very late in the game...

If you were a Warpaint Illustrated subscriber, you would know that he did. It was all in our one-on-one interview with Carl Peterson. :D

Yep it was loud-91 was the first year I had season tickets. $240 for ten games. Been to just about every game since then.

91-2004 only missed 2 games-preseason and all. The last two seasons-I have picked the ones I really want to see.

Yes at this time, Sopcast and FireFox seem to fight a little.

Yep. same here...its quite sad. We should have had at least one SB appearance, maybe 2. Marty's teams always have a tendancy to play down to their competition and lose. Anyone remember the Rams game in 93 we lost at home? Crap like that always pissed me off about the man.

Me too. The electricity throughout the stadium that night was unlike anything I've experienced since....including playoff games.

Same here. It was my 22nd birthday that night as well. I was a senior in college at Illinois State and had to re-schedule two tests that day so I could drive home to St. Louis, pick up my dad and another guy, and then drive to KC for the game. Afterwards, we drove back to St. Louis, got home about 2:30 a.m., then I drove straight back to ISU and got there about 5:00 a.m. and I had to take one of the re-scheduled tests at 7:00 a.m. That was a rough 24 hours, but it was worth it.

My girlfriend was also in college at the time at Eastern Illinois (Mike Shanarat's alma mater), and she stole a Bud poster from a bar there that had the two team's helmets, the date, and said "Watch the Game Here". Still have that poster up in our basement.

Probably my best memory as a Chiefs fan.
