Who all isnt going to the game now?

I will be there sunday supporting the chiefs. I just really hope people dont give up on them. They need all the noise and support they can get. So who isnt going?

ROYC75 10-16-2006 09:35 AM

I'm sure the weather will dictate that.......

|Zach| 10-16-2006 09:36 AM

This should be about the time that people who don't go to games tell people who do go to games that they shouldn't on CP.

As I recall the Pats got their asses handed to them by Buffalo 31-0 one of their Super Bowl years. While no way am I predicting a Chiefs Super Bowl I'm sure not giving up on the season just yet.

I'll be there.

Which one are you? :hmmm:

carlos3652 10-16-2006 09:37 AM

You are not a real fan unless you have tickets anyway... you can still be a real fan and not go to the games... (per Carl)

EDIT: as long as you dont sell your tickets to non fans... (non season ticket holders...)

This is without a doubt the biggest overplayed line in the history of CP mythology.

Funny, to me it's the most concise representation of Carl Peterson in his tenure as Chiefs' Grand Pubar -- arrogance, greed, lack of appreciation/respect and stupidity, all wrapped up in one tidy little comment about his customers.

You talking about me?

Kyle401 10-16-2006 10:08 AM

Going to the Mizzou game this weekend. Hopefully they will rebound against K-State. I'll probably try to get tickets to the Seattle game. I'm not a "real fan" so I don't have season tickets.

Usually, tickets are much more affordable (and available) after the Chiefs have dropped a pile of Raiduhs like they did this week. Strange how that works.

Ketchup&Mustard 10-16-2006 10:12 AM

I would love to be able to go to the game. Even if we were winless, I'd still want to go. The team can suck, but the atmosphere at Arrowhead is second to none. No doubt, I'd sit at a game and freeze any day rather than sit at home and watch. And this is coming from a guy who had season tickets until a divorce, and is currently trying to save money to get a pair of them for next season. (They were the wife's tickets)

noa 10-16-2006 10:13 AM

I'm going to the game and we're gonna win!

I'm owed tickets to the Raider game this year, and haven't received them. If we don't improve, I might just forget it altogther. I'm not staying in Kansas City for a week to watch a shitty football team play two games. I might still go to the Thanksgiving Day game.

jspchief 10-16-2006 10:21 AM

dumb thread

jab0450 10-16-2006 10:21 AM

I may be kinda new to the board but deff not a new chiefs fan. And ill never jump off the bandwagon, im a chiefs fan through and through. Like i said ill be there sunday, and all the home games for years to come. I was just curious to see who wasnt, thats all.

jab0450 10-16-2006 10:23 AM

Tough crowd, tough crowd.

I am not surprised by your lack of perspective.

DaFace 10-16-2006 02:34 PM

If anyone's decided to give up on the team and not go to any games, I would be glad to take your tickets for the rest of the year. It'll be tough, but I'd be willing to suffer through it for you. :D

Sounds good. I'm trying to focus on the "visiting people" element of my trip so I don't get too pissed off. :D

I'm flying in - the only game I'll see at Arrowhead this year. And I'll be at the CP events.

Looking forward to it and hoping we'll get it turned around at home.

The King, Queen and two Princesses and their two joker husbands will all be there. Family togetherness at a Chiefs game. Good times!
