I don't care what the anti Self people say, the guy is a good coach. Is he the caliber of a Roy Williams or Bob Knight? No, probably not. Does he have some weaknesses in his coaching abilities? Yes. But he is a good coach, nonetheless. The made some really good adjustments in the Texas game to make the comeback.

Even if it took me a while to warm up to his style, I've always thought people were too quick to criticize him. Everyone wants to call every loss a choke, but like it or not, you can't go from Roy's style to Self's style overnight; and the best coaches don't always work miracles with young teams.
