OFFICIAL Brodie Croyle sucks thread
 
You know, just in case.

Here is the place we will turn to when Brodie throws a pick in the preseason or just doesn't get on the same page with the offense in training camp, or gets injured. Name-calling is encouraged, especially anything related to his fragility.

Let's get some ideas rolling now so we can be ready once we start to see him in action. Keep in mind, I'm asking Chiefs fans to dig deep in their hearts and do what they haven't done in several seasons- bash the starting QB. We had some great years. 2001 Trent Green and 1998 Elvis Grbac to name the most recent. Croyle is the first QB we've drafted for the future since Todd Blackledge (Pat Barnes doesn't count). We've got young QB bashing skills in our genes, I know we can make something work.

Let's keep a tab on this thread throughout the offseason. It will eventually be used as a reference.

He's a quarterback drafted by the Chiefs. That pretty much says all you need to know about the guy's future. His fate was decided when we called his number. All he can hope for is tremendous suckdom and then a fade into oblivion to join Todd Blackledge, Mike Elkins, Matt Blundin, Steve Matthews, Steve Stenstrom, Pat Barnes, and James Killian.

Or maybe he could pan out. Who knows?

Brodie has to go. Devard darling, and Jeff Webb just cannot sustain any more broken fingers.

D Bowe didn't turn for a pass quick enough last sunday, and damn near got his head knocked off his body. Concussions are nothing to be taken lightly.

That really doesn't make sense given what we witnessed last year - a 1:1 TD/INT ratio.

I hope he's good. I don't see how anyone who has followed this team for very long can have an optomistic outlook about it though. They're not exactly noted for their ability to make QBs.

I kind of like this reverse Karma thing.

I seriously see something in Brodie.

I admit that it could be a bad case of homerism, but until he's had a season to wash this out of my head, I think he's going to be a pleasant surprise.
