Mock Planet

The Redskins have a great site that offers tons of links to various mocks and displays the Redskins first round pick on each mock. In attempt to do a small-scaled version of that, I want to post various links, when it was last updated, and the pick they have the Chiefs taking. I obviously won't have time to continually go to each site during the course of the next week but if you wish to post a link with the Chiefs pick and when it was last updated, I'll edit it and post it on my original post. I originally posted this in Draft Planet but I think with the draft a week away, it's time to put this in the big board.

Here's the Redskins site: http://www.hailredskins.com/MockDraft.htm

Tamba Hali was supposed to be a reach last year. Let's hope Harrell is as much of a reach as Hali was.

Tamba was projected as a 10 to 15 pick before he didnt work out that well. Harrell was first projected as a 2nd and 3rd rounder. Big difference.

Marco Polo 04-21-2007 02:23 PM

Meachem apparently is the popular pick amongst the ones listed.

Mecca 04-21-2007 02:24 PM

If you want Hali comparisons Jarrett is that player, the over productive player who rated out high then dropped during the workout period.

Bob Dole 04-21-2007 02:31 PM

Bob Dole just doesn't see us going for a WR in the first round.

Why was everyone around here bitching when we took him then? He must've had quite a fall.

Mecca 04-21-2007 02:37 PM

I didn't bitch because of the player I bitched because of the value of the player at the pick.......I thought they could have traded down got another pick and still got him.

Everyone was bitching about his 40 time... I liked what Herm said: How many times does a DE have to run 40 yards to get to the QB?

Does anyone even have an interest in keeping track of mock drafts or am I the only one?

I don't either. My guess in Aaron Ross.

There is kind of a subforum for it.

Yep.

Ross and Staley are the two that would make me go nuts...

Rausch just wonders where the "Shocker" pick lands this year.

1st round Safety?

2nd round fullback?

If its Reggie Nelson in the first or Brian Leonard in the 2nd I wouldnt go crazy, both would be good choices.

Thank goodness Herm doesn't seem to believe in that system.
