Sal P on espn said all his stuff and equiptment is already in Miami and a contract is already worked out. . he said no way can KC have Trent at start of season with the cap. . he siad its just a matter of time now

blueballs 04-29-2007 02:04 PM

the movies have sound now
some call them "talkies"

OnTheWarpath15 04-29-2007 02:06 PM

You're and idiot.

Trent and the Dolphins agreed to a contract a month or so ago.

Otherwise, he's just speculating. His equipment is there? WTF does that mean?

That report was a carbon copy of everything else that's already been reported/speculated about....

Frankie 04-29-2007 02:06 PM

I still think we'll only trade him to them for something like their 3rd in 08 or a vet.

blueballs 04-29-2007 02:08 PM

Greg Wesley's equipment is in Chicago
stop by Nathan's -ask for a red hot

Priestgets30TDs 04-29-2007 02:09 PM

I love it when people mock the lexicon......

I was watching this, and he did NOT say it was a done deal. Palantonio didn't say that or anything like that. He said it "could" happen today but he wasn't basing that on anything.

He did say that there were rumors that Trent's equipment was in Miami but the feel of the interview was that nobody believes Carl when he says that Green is our starting QB and that something could get done like the McNair trade in mid May. He didn't say it was all but a done deal. You are inferring that based on one comment that, out of context, gives an impression totally contrary to the rest of the segment.

I checked my DVR, but it was too far back, or I would transcribe the whole thing.

The Bad Guy 04-29-2007 02:27 PM

Trent already packed his bags and his equipment is down there?

That has to be tampering.

recxjake 04-29-2007 02:28 PM

Why can't Trent agree to the same contract he agreed to with Miami, with the Chiefs???

I would much rather keep him now.... we have had a solid draft and could use him.

blueballs 04-29-2007 02:29 PM

because Trent has a history of being a prick

Smed1065 04-29-2007 02:30 PM

So Trent stole company equipment?

Worse yet Trent isn't working out? Without his equipment what is he doing? Is he sitting around and watching the draft? What a lazy ass.

Extra Point 04-29-2007 02:31 PM

His equipment is down there, all right.

For making leaf-proof gutters.

My stupid trade that will never happen: Wesley, Trent, and a 2nd day 08 pick for Alex Brown.

EXACTLY what I was going to say. The first post did a terrible job of giving Sal's report. He actually mentioned the McNair trade going all the way through May last year and that you might see that again here. He also specifically said there were "rumors" of Trent's equipment being sent to the Snowflakes.

Good point. The NFL should award the Phin's 1st in 08 to us.

Well as long as he has his iPod Shuffle, he can still work out. ;)

Hey, sorry if I hurt your feelings......

Feel free to keep starting these quality threads you've been subjecting us to for the past 2 months.

There are enough multiple threads started as it is, much less on draft day. You took a report that had the same information we've been hearing for six weeks, and turned it into a report that a deal was completed.

The entire report was not only a repeat of things we'd already heard, it was 100% speculation.

Do us all a favor and take your own advice: step away from the computer. We have exceeded our quota of ****sticks already this year.......

Direckshun 04-29-2007 05:51 PM

I'm guessing Green's good for a conditional in '08.

Play good, Chiefs get a 4th. Don't, and Chiefs get a 6th.
