A good friend of Bob Dole's band (Pail) is a finalist in a Battle of the Bands, with the winner getting a spot to play at Little Rocks' Riverfest. KATV began online polling this morning and it runs through May 14.

Bob Dole agrees that isn't one of their best and most representative songs. Trey just called a little bit ago and Bob Dole forgot to ask him who the hell selected which song got posted with the poll. Pretty sure it was someone at the TV station.

How did your brothers vote turn out for his band beer me? I know a lot of people were giving the band sh*t. But hey, thats the planet.

Just missed the cut... but it's cool. They've only been together for about six months so they weren't quite as polished as some of the others. The good news is that they are now booking paying gigs. One at Davey's Uptown in KC next month in fact. Thought I'd put out an invite when we get closer if it isn't sold out. I found out from the promoter today that there are only 90 tickets left... which is a good problem to have.
