I assume NO OFF you have read this? You waste my time when I try to help animals that are just a throw off............blind, I will not contiune on. A place that saves them and another place that all you do 1 time a day is click and feeds sheltered animals? NOW, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?:mad:

Ever had Springfield style cashew chicken? Something different, yet very good, about it.

Now would be a good time to mass produce somemore of those TK decoder rings :)

Ever had it at the ORIGINAL place on Sunshine (across form KY3, I think).

It's closed now, but damn that was good stuff.

The man that invented the cashew chicken most of us think about ran that place. He retired, as I understand it, and gave the place to his son... who ran it into the ground.

Basically, it's just fried chicken (marinated) covered in a brown cashew sauce. That's all I ever get.

If a Chinese restaurant doesn't have Springfield style cashew chicken, I won't go there.

However, the BEST I've ever had was at the House of Chow in Columbia (Broadway and Stadium).

That was because the old saying - "you never see any stray cats in Springfield". Thus the term down here "Lets go get some cashew kitty".


Southern Fried Chinese ... Chicken nuggets deep-fried in a duck or thick wonton sauce substance. Served over rice. And yes it is delicious with all white meat.


Actually, yes I have seen it served on the menu in Oklahoma, Illinois, and Arkansas. They had the traditional cashew chicken and right below with an asterisk ... also served "Springfield Style"

I've seen mine eat their own vomit. At frist i was like "No No'..then I thought, "well shit, i dont have to clean it up"..and I let them be on their merry way...

No, but I did co-own it for a period of time.
