My access to the cyber world will be shut off at midnight tonight. Everybody cross your fingers that the cable company will forget to do it, because we all love having joey on the planet. It's happened before, I got an extra two weeks of cable/net/phone after it was supposed to be terminated once. Doubt it'll happen again though.

You need to get your priortites in order. Forget less important things like car payments or food and get your internet bill paid. Life without instant pr0n is not a life worth living.

I don't have a penny to my name until monday. Even then I won't have more than an extra dollar in my budget. I got evicted yesterday(30 days to move) and have to save for a place to live. Internet is a luxury. I don't have to have it. There's always the library.

Why don't you just steal someones laptop and pawn it to raise the funds?

I like my job. It's the only thing I'm good at(manual labor). It's just hard to feed your family, house your family and afford internet at 9 bucks an hour. And hard to find a better job when during the day you're always working or trying to atleast see your kid awake.

To hell with that nine bucks an hour stuff. Go down to Yellow Frieght and se if you can get on as a casual working the docks. I think that starts off around 15/hour.

I see alot of people struggle.

I see the same people unable to make rent, but having internet, 125 channels on the dish, a $300 cell phone, and wonder why they're having a tough time.

Yeah, that's why I'm having to give all that up.(except for the cell phone, never had one of those). Rent's a little better than cable. :)

Try taking a civil service exam, or working your way into a union. There are ways to make manual labor pay well.

No cable, no internet no phone. However, I just talked to the manager at his library im at and I might get a second job to help pay for perks so yeah.

Someone slightly more crazy than I might be envious of your lack of outreaching technology. Sometimes I wonder if my life would be better off without all three........

Getting a second job mainly for a phone. I'm working in the caves right now and have a new roommate so bills are doing ok. No perks though. But I need a phone because I like not having to walk six blocks and pay 50 cents everytime I need to make call someone. Which is alot. And I talk to distance family via email so internet has it's importance as well.
