Don't have strong feelings on the show yet, but I think Holly Hunter just replaced Heather Locklear as THE girl who doesn't age.
Closing in on 50 and she's got the look of a hard body/pretty face, that if she said early 30s, I'd buy it.
Impressive.

I'd post pics, but both TNT and IMDB are buttmunches about their pic files.

I liked the first episode.

Holly Hunter is a great little actress. This could be an outstanding role for her.

Hotness aside, Holly Hunter is one heck of an actress. Sure, Heather is good looking, but I can see Mr. Baby Lee's point.

If you cancel out the great boobs, face, legs, abdomen, hair, skin, and posterior, Holly wins hands down.

I've long held that Heather was the standard bearer for not aging.
Holly is like three years older, and, if you actually watch the show, really plays youthful, fit, and not hard or stretched at all, and that's in HD.

I Agree. Ive had a crush on Holly Hunter since the Raising Arizona/Broadcast News days. Her role in Broadcast News was probaby one of the best written female roles in the past 25 years or so. Amazing flick and one that really holds ups well considering todays news climate.


She looks great for a woman her age.

So, what about the show?

I liked the first one, Ms. luv. It's set in Oklahoma City, which is unusual and her character provides room for a lot of development. The premise is somewhat trite ... one might say contrived, but Holly is actress enough to do something with it.

I suppose the success of the show will hinge on the writing and the entertainment value derived from the support cast, both of which have yet to develop, obviously.

I've only seen a few commercials, and I work nights (thus not seeing the show). What is the premise?

She is a heathen detective given a last chance to correct her ways by God who has sent a tobacco-spitting angel to let her know that's the deal.

She tries to discover the meaning of her life as well as the clues associated with her cases.

Sometimes, it amazes me what Hollywood is willing to do.

What surpised me was how frank it was for a TNT show. The language and sex reminded me of an FX type of show.
