I think any of even the most hard-core fans agree that we're probably not gonna win the SB this year.
So what do YOU want?

Personally, I DON'T want a 9-7 or 8-8 crap year, and I don't think most of us do. So without getting all holier than thou, tell us what you honestly want from the Chiefs this year.

i want to chiefs to play hard nose defence, control the ball, and be physical at the point of attack. We must pound the rock if we want to win in december

I DON'T want to go 3-13 and have the top pick in the draft. I'll NEVER want that. I want to win it all. I won't disbelieve that it's possible before we even play a damn snap to start this season off. I want the most wins this team can manage with whoever it takes to get there.

Top 5 Defense knowing our Offense needs a few tweaks.
If that means 9-7 10-6 fine.

I want a bad azz D with an offense ranked above 15th and a playoff WIN.

Hmmm, could be interesting. We almost had that last year if it wasn't for Herm going UberMarty on us against the Colts

We got younger in most positions I am glad we are building for something special

1. Entertaining, hard-hitting, smack-you-in-the-mouth defense.

2. Croyle to have a few regular season game chances to determine if he's got the ability.

That's about it.

I either want a "Major League" type season, or I want us to finish with 6 or fewer wins so that we can evaluate young talent, begin to develop Croyle, and put ourselves in position to draft a Jake Long or Sam Baker type.

Anything from 7-9 wins is a worst case scenario for the future of the team.

Improvement and a balanced offense and defense. A playoff birth would be a bonus. A one and done in the playoffs would probably kill me though.

I want to lose a lot of close games. For the first time in a lot of years early drafting would do us some good. The Germ is good for something.

I have accepted that we'll suck. I will watch and support the team anyway. But at the end of the season I want Carl and Herm fired.

I want to see young guys develop with playoff experience, and of course TD's.

All young talent to develop to starter or primier back-up quality.

I want that when Gun calls a blitz that we actually get to the QB!

I want to see our rookie WR show some promise.

I want to see some improvement in the play calling from our 2nd year OC

I want to see DJ become a pro bowl LB.

I want our rookie Kicker to show that he isn't a bust.

I want us to WIN some roads games so we have some hope that Herm's plan is working in some manner.

I want as many wins as possible.

I will support and defend the Chiefs and Herm all season against outsiders because they are my team and my coach.

I want to see the Chiefs go 6-0 or at least 5-1 in the AFC West. Need I explain this?

I want to see the Chiefs go 4-4 on the road. 5-3 would be orgasmic.

I want to see Samie Parker on the fastest plane out of Kansas City.

I want an offense that averages 20.3 points a game.

I want a defense that allows 15.9 points a game or under.

I want a Head Coach who knows how to manage his Dick Curl.

I want to see the Chiefs give their best performance in a playoff game. Not just by the defense, but the offense as well.

I want to see a quarterback who can manage the game 95%, but have the brain/arm to win a game the other 5%.

I want to be able to see a game this year, since I've been going continuously since I was 9-10 years old.

Honestly, I'd like to get laid this semester.

I would like to see our D run so many freaking shifts, blitzes, etc. Any QB is going to get dizzy trying to figure out who just sacked him.

I also want to see my adopted Chief get his actual chance behind our starting O-Line. Having I-71 at LT was worse than I-65. I think if D-Mac can give Croyle a couple of extra seconds he could settle down in the pocket and make some passes. JMO

I say just beat HOUSTON before we worry about anything else

It might not be too late for what I want, I wanted a developmental year. A year to see if we had a young QB that was NFL worthy in the long run, not over the short term. I wanted to see young players all over the team (that in general is happening to a great degree). I have always planned on this being a throw away season and frankly I am disappointed that we are going in the same old tired direction.

1) Proof that Herm isn't offensively reeruned.
2) Top 7 defense
3) Casey Printers starting at QB

I hope number 3 isnt the most attainable.

I want to see Croyle develope with Bowe, Webb, & Sippio.

I want to see Bonecrusher "hit" and pop the ball into the air and watch Page take it to the house.

I want to see this team grow and become a Championship caliber team next year. If it could happen this year that would be great but I know better.

With Herm picking our draft picks we may not need a top 5 draft pick, he has done good so far with his picks. But it would be best if Croyle could get significant playing time, live and die with his arm. Croyle is only going to get better as the year goes however Huard will stay the same or get worse.

I want to see play action pass.

OK, here's what I want.

Offense I want solid development and consistent play from Croyle. If that is not possible, I want him off the roster before draft day. I have no idea what I want from this Thigpen chum. If he sucks, get him off the roster too.

I want consistently solid pass blocking to give whomever the QB may be a chance to make a read and throw the ball. I want big holes for LJ to get to the secondary and do what he does. IMO he is infintely better when he has a hole and can punish some people in the secondary. He's just about impossible to tackle.

I want Kennison to have a Pro Bowl year. He deserves it. On the other side, I want Parker gone right now. I want Bowe to show why he was a #1 pick, catch every catchable ball, and smoke some guys when he is asked to block. I want Webb to pan out. Herm has talked him up so much, I want consistent play from him.

Defense I want for the first time in a long time, CONSISTENT play from the defensive side of the ball. We all know there is talent, I want to see it materialize into a hard hitting, bad ass unit. I want Law to not give up one long play this year. I want the line to destroy opposing lines and get to the QB. I don't care who does it or how they do it, but I want teams to average less than 15 ppg.

Special Teams I also want consistency from this unit. Medlock needs to remove his head from his rectum. The coverage units needs to allow a total of 0 returns past their own 30, without avoiding the returner. I would also like to see some turnovers produced out of the unit. The return units needs to consistently get the O to the 30 or 40 consistently. AND NO TURNOVERS...EVER.

Coaching First and foremost, I want a play action pass on the first play of the first offensive drive of the Houston game. I want Herm to do what Herm does and make our weak links stronger. I would be a happy camper if Herm plays Croyle ASAP (I'm still holding out hope that he will put the rocket in when the line has come around). I want Solari to mix it up. Solari would earn points with me if he would at least try to achieve some balance in play calling. I want the playcalling to force the other team to not put 9 guys in the box. Lastly, I want the coaching staff to develop the talent, establish consistent play, and make the players better.

I would like to see KC go to Indy in the playoffs, and defensively beat the living shit out of Manning and Harrison. 4 picks, and Manning out of the game by the third quarter due to PAIN.

I know, I know, I don't ask for much. Just vengence for all the playoff losses to those bitches. Seriously, at this point they should be sneaking above the Raiders for most hated team.

What I want this season:

1. Huard or Croyle to develop.
2. Tank to become a great DT.
3. Bowe to become a #1.
4. Sippio to understand the playbook by week 4 and start to get some real playing time thereafter.
5. Pollard and Page to continue to develop.
6. McIntosh to be solid.
7. Solari's playcalling to improve ten-fold.
8. One of the backup LB's to improve and be a solid player for the future.

Hmmm? Lets go with the winning Powerball ticket, Hef to send his girls over the pleasure me and a few cases of Alaskan Ale. Yeah, that would be a reasonable start. :hmmm:

Question? How do you develop a 34 year old 11 year vet that has never been considered for a starting job except at Recycle U?

The best thing that can happen for the Chiefs is to have a terrible year and for Herm to get fired. As well as Carl.

I want Page and Pollard to turn into a force

I want Turk and Tank to turn around our luck with DTs

I want Tamba and Jared Allen to get a lot of sacks and force plenty of fumbles

I want some WRs to step up, whether its Bowe, Webb, or Sippio if he gets called up at some point

I want us to find more ways to utilize Bigfoot

And I want us to get a chance to see if we should keep hoping for Croyle's development, or if we should ditch him move on.
