WOW, my little neice just had twins this morning about 8am.

Everyone is doing great according to my sister.

The little girl is 7 lbs. 10 oz
The little boy is 6 lbs. 11 oz.

My little neice is a tiny girl...I can't imagine what 14lbs of kids inside her looked like. I hadn't seen her since this early summer. I'm so proud of her.

Congrats to your sister and your family

Hope everyone is health and doing well. I can't imagine twins, I would have had to kill myself.

As long as she does not look like this then she is ok!

The extra limbs came from a conjoined, but not fully formed, twin.

Chief Henry 11-06-2007 11:03 AM

I guess I don't now if there identical or not.
But since one is a boy and one is a girl I'm guessing there not.

My neice also has an 18 month old at home too.
Libby, my neice will be so busy and tired. I really feel for her and her husband.

Boy/Girl twins are always Fraternal. Not possible to be identical since they are not the same sex. I got B/G twins myself. The little shits are a little over 2 now and have been the best thing to ever happen to me.

With the miracles of modern medicine, it's possible. /Hel'n

They probably think she's a goddess.

If she can control them, that would be awesome. If they're dead weight, they gots to go. I wonder if she's not already developing a dangerous case of Amputation Fantasy.

Congratulations, Mr. Chief Henry. My best to all concerned.

I've always been fascinated by twins. One time, an expert on coasttocoastam said that they can read each others' minds and stuff. Can you pinch one and see if the other one cries?

I just got an update that the little boy, Jack is in ICU. Possibly his lung is not as developed as they want. I hope that little bugger is ok.

Halfcan 11-06-2007 12:24 PM

Congrats!

Chief Henry 11-06-2007 03:10 PM

The little boy is fine I guess. Doctors want to have him in ICU for precautionary reasons. They think he'll be out in 48 hours.

Thanks for all your kind thoughts.
