is it worth it finishing college or should i work at wal mart?
|
Finish college, then work at WalMart.
|
I say if you have a shot at produce quit college
|
In your case I think you should just work at Wal Mart, cause it doesn't look like college is working out all that well for you.

There is no ceiling to the amount of money you can earn at WalMart.
If you go to college and get a degree... you can only earn a little. But if you don't go to school, and get a job at WalMart... you will get to work until your are 87, and die. |
Board fees are the way to go, Mr. barry_smilez20. You do absolutely nothing except show up, smile, and thumb through some ridiculous, confusing papers and they send you money.

Rather than quitting school and working in Wal Mart's produce department perhaps you could finish school and become the MANAGER of Wal Mart's produce department.
Hmmmmmm? |

have fun paying back the student loans. And welcome to a continuous lifecycle of mediocrity.
You will NEVER start school ever again. It will be over. The quality of woman you will score will decrease. Your lifes success hinges on this decision. Don't take it lightly. Who cares about beers and shit? Big deal. You better be good at sales, because if you have no degree, that is the career that you have the most earning potential. |

That sounds familiar, but I really don't think the quality of women I scored decreased. |

Um, yeah. School really screwed my earning potential.
I really miss those tiny paychecks I got making 6-10 an hour. |

I'm in college, and I'm sick of it. I'm thinking about working construction or something the rest of my life. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! I wouldn't ever work at that low paying Wal-Mart BS the rest of my life though. I would rather cook full time, because I'm a part time cook now.
|
honestly me and bigwillie007 can tell you that school isn't all that. If you find something that pays well go for it you can always go back to school later
|
School is over rated, just like Huard was.

The sad thing is I have been downloading movies and selling them in atchison. I have been making better money doing that then at my real job

Then get back to me. |
If you do this, you're slamming the door on a possible career as an astrophysicist.

Because your question is very ****ing stupid and to ask something so dumb means you are not learning much in college. Sad, really. |

Drink your milk and stay in school. I hated school the first go round but managed to make it thru. Then worked a fed gov't job for 20. Now I'm semi retired at 50 and back in school again. Working toward my next degree and career. Besides at my age the co-eds look the same as they did 26 yrs ago but the instructors are easier to pick up. ROFL

I just love how when someone has nothing else to say they turn it into spelling or English. I go to school to learn about that, not Chiefs Planet.

Its a pretty well known, universal fact, that the top shelf women always choose the guy with the walmart Pay stub over the College grad.
u shuld try study more harder AND wurk walmurt same time. |
Go to college.
I already have too much competition keeping my job at walmart. |

Go watch the video "The High Cost of Low Prices", then ask yourself if that's the kind of company worth quitting school for.
|
Based on your posts, I don't think you're smart enough to work at Walmart.
|
Stay in school.... you won't regret it.

If you have to ask, you probably will never make it anywhere in the first place |

my mom has worked at walmart for 20+ years, her pay is maxed unless she promotes to management. my sister has worked at walmart for 10 years or so, just took a promotion to ast. mgr. its not what you want to do for the rest of your life. and no, not everyone lives paycheck to paycheck. when you make enough to still have money left over when you get paid again, thats how you build a savings account, and eventually set yourself up for retirement. this could possibly be the dumbest question posed to the planet since "huard v croyle." but if you want to be like mediocre king carl, you can focus on now, and not worry about the future. we all know how thats worked out for him so far.
