Your Zip Code

One of the coolest websites on the internet.

Find out every demographic you'd ever need to know (I'd imagine) about your neighborhood, and compare it to neighboring neighborhoods.

Pretty cool site.

Pushead2 11-21-2007 05:36 AM

Damn, I live in a kick ass zip code. either at the top or in the top two of every good category and in the bottom percentages of the bad categories.

chagrin 11-21-2007 06:14 AM

Rain Man 11-21-2007 10:22 AM

Of the 100 most densely populated Zip Codes in the United States, 4 are in San Francisco, 3 in Los Angeles, 2 in Chicago, and 85 in New York.

Donger 11-21-2007 10:24 AM

"Sorry. We do not have any information for this ZIP code at this time."

Well, that's disconcerting.

Rain Man 11-21-2007 10:27 AM

I'm kind of jealous that somehow seven young people in the middle of Manhattan get their own Zip Code (10165)

chief52 11-21-2007 10:29 AM

Cool site. Thanks.

chasedude 11-21-2007 10:55 AM

Wow 13.1% below poverty level in my zip... that's disconcerting.

ditto as we run under the radar.

Sweet website. It solidified the facts that I already knew. 60% of the population of my zip code.....are over 60 years old.

Otter 11-21-2007 12:32 PM

That site would be a gold mine if you could customize queries.

Imagine being able to run a search on the cities with highest population of single, college educated women between the age of 25-35.

They are all well educated (at least a bachelor degree) but the median income is a touch over $2K per year? Something screwy here.

I got 37.3 :(

luv 11-21-2007 01:09 PM

I live in the second richest zip code in my area, but I make $27K less than the median income. Of course, it's also the second highest for married people, so a lot of those are probably two income households compared to my one income household.
